Will concentration on my breathing lead me to increased risk of senility? What are some tests that have been done to show if it is safe or not?

I am a native Californian, but I had the opportunity to live in Dallas Texas and Jacksonville Florida and I can say without a doubt these are where the nicest people come from, they welcome you into there homes, smile at you on the street, will help you when your car breaks down ,are the ones who are the most family oriented, the ones who support there Collge and States Sports teams, they are the ones that produce the best singers we have in the Music Industry, Southern Hospitality and a love for GOD lives in the south...

There are many Christians in California but are afraid to speak there mind and are proably not as outspoken as me and the north proably has the higgest amount of atheists.

Do you live in a area with the majority being Christian, Jewish, Muslim or heathen?

Jesus was a cool dude forty days without food,
devil tried to tempt him but that's okay,
He's got love on his face,
no disgrace,
He's spreading his love all over the face,
saying, "We will, We will do right"
saying, "We will, We will do right"

satan got a little frustrated, couldn't believe he couldn't take him down,
With his lies of promises and prosperity,
Jesus said, "satan get behind me, devil you're beneath me!"
Because of Jesus we can stand proud and say,
"we will, we will do right!" (like Jesus in the Bible days)
"we will, we will do right!"

satan took him to a mountain high, said Jesus you can fly,
You are the king, surely the angels would not let you die,
Jesus said, "Tempt me no mo', satan you've got to go!"
We're following Jesus Christ our Savior,
and now we flow,
"we will, we will do right (like Jesus in the Bible days)
"we will, we will do right, do right!"

IS IT GOOD? I DID IT YEST!

Follow Jesus Christ he is the TRUTH!!!!!! AMEN!

An Atheist group tried to keep charities from getting Federal funding, just because they were faith-based:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070625/ap_on_go_su_co/scotus_faith_based

Now, you guys can try to pursue your agenda, that's OK. But, can't you at least open your black hearts for a second and see that this is helps people????
Just because a charity is faith-based doesn't mean that they don't do good deeds.

And, if you want to say this is unconstitutional, that's fine, but try to do so without using the phrase "Separation of Church and State", as it isn't in the Constitution. In fact, the only part in the first amendment is this:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion"

And since they are allowing this funding to ALL charities, secular and ALL religions, I don't see how it is violating the 1st Amendment. If a Wiccan charity would come up, they would get the same funding as a Christian one.

Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

I continually see JWs write things like:

"We are the ONLY ones that go door to door."

"We have done _____ amount of preaching."

I even see JWs boasting the title of the persecuted Christians!

So I just had a thought, when we die we are supposedly going to go to heaven right? well try to contemplate death, its not sleeping its just no longer existing, not even black, its just nothing, I can not even fathom that how can that be?

And since that is so hard to contemplate do you think that this is the very reason God and heaven exist because people can't imagine life just being over and nothing to follow? Whats next and who's to say that God exists or doesn't, if God created the heavens and the earth, how did he come to exist, its so hard to just think that he just IS and wasn't made as everything else in our world comes into existance, does anyone else think about this? What are your thoughts on it?

In view of the almost daily controversy that surrounds the Divine Name, I have a question. Two, actually.

If you believe that we have a closer relationship to God by using the name "Jehovah", shouldn't we NEVER say "Satan" since we don't want to have a close relationship with him?

Also, if you believe that the mere act of pronouncing the name "Jehovah" is considered "sanctifying" the name, then shouldn't we NEVER say the name "Satan" since the mere use of the name might bring fame and honor to him?

If you are a Christian and want to quote Scripture, please use Scriptures from the New Testament that were written to Christians, and not scriptures where Jehovah was speaking with the Israelites.

The half banana theory is my term for the belief by evolutionists that human beings are descended from apes. They claim that since our DNA is 98% similar to that of chimpanzees it is “evidence” we have the same grandparents.Well, by their way of thinking we must also be half banana as the DNA in bananas is 50% similar to human.Ramapithecus, once widely regarded as the ancestor of humans, has now been recognized as merely an extinct type of orangutan.A Chinese farmer glued together the head and body of a primitive bird and the tail and hind limbs of a dromaeosaur dinosaur, and in 1999 completely fooled the world-wide scientific community into thinking that they had found the “missing link” between carnivorous dinosaurs and modern birds.Orce man found in 1982 was hailed as the oldest fossilized human remains ever found in Europe. One year later officials admitted the skull was not human, but probably came from a 4-month old donkey.
Running out of room. I will have to continue with details.

I am a whole hearted christian and believe in the bible. I don't condon being gay, however it is decision that my friend has made. I love him, and feel that it is important for me to see past my own expectations and except him no matter what, seeing as how he accepts me despite our faith differences. Is it wrong to feel this way? Does God expect differently?

I was born and raised here, if anything, I might leave because of the rude ppl here.

There was also a claim made that 79% of America is 'pure Christian'. What does that mean exactly? There are so many denominations, who are the pure ones? And pure could mean faultless, or having unmixed blood. Surely the Christians are not actually considering themselves 'pure' then, are they?

There have been Muslims here for years and years...Look up Alexander Russell Webb as an example. He was serving as the U.S. consul to the Philippines in 1887 and became Muslim in 1888. He went on to start the the first Islamic press in the United States....

Is Ravi's paying to have these questions listed continually or has his faith overwhelmed the Yahoo Answeres section by hypnosis or something like this through the medium of Cyberspace telepathy.
