I'd like to have an email conversation with "Claudia". She sounds fascinating - from afar.
I'm an American-born Muslima too. I'm a veteran of the US Army, and worked for local government, went to a state university, and now work for a private consulting firm, designing subdivisions and shopping centers, where folks like Claudia like to live and shop. I vote in local and national elections, read the newspaper, and am as involved in the US political process as my schedule allows.
Here's a quote for Claudia:
Bill of Rights, Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Claudia is an anti-American bigot. I hope someday she sees the light, but until then, may she get what she wishes for others.

No-She's just another one of the innumerable fanatics on R&S. I seriously doubt that statistic most Christians don't even know their own teachings there are thousands of Christian sects now. They know very little of what Jesus taught because King Constantine changed so many things in the Bible and omitted much of Jesuses life. Pure means they stopped sinning. Jesus said "Go and Sin no more." I haven't met one yet. They don't even know that eating meat is a sin acording to the original teachings of Jesus and the old testament says "To slew an ox is as if to kill a man." SImple enough. But they ignor saying Jesus will take all the sin. But they ignor the Go and sin no more part. and the Vedas say it is a sin for human beings to eat animals. (What goes around comes around) (karma) Any way I don't believe statistics. They can pick and choose their audience to get what statistics they want. Same with science. It is all based on speculation.

The term pure refers to the actual religion and not the people who choose to follow its teachings. I think the pure refers to the idea that the religion itself is not mixed with other religions. There are different kinds of religions that are "pure" in the sense that they practice that religions original beliefs. Over the years a lot of religions mix ideas. As far as the persecution you are experiencing, you need to decide for yourself whether or not you will let mere words hurt you. There is discrimination everywhere. Verbal persecution will happen no matter your religion, ethnicity, or sexual preference. Everyone endures discrimination one time or another. The United States allows freedom of speech. Some countries are inhumane enough to enforce physical persecution. It's your choice where you want to live, but you shouldn't let words hurt you. Everyone has been rude to someone one time or another. You can't let their ignorance affect your life.

Ignore it, really..
I received two emails like this, just different topic..
This "Claudia" has no right, she's not a leader or something..
yep, about pure Christians. There are many groups of Christians. Or if they are referring to lineage, then they are not pure. Who knows maybe their ancestor married a French, Irish or others..
If there is a life threatening situation, like suspected for being in a terrorist group when you're not, then leave..
If not you'll maybe end up at Guatanamo or something..
May Allah guide us all..

what's struggling with that's American regulation, the form and human beings with straight forward sense who do no longer panic because of the fact some nut case working for workplace thinks they're going to get extra votes by utilising scaring human beings approximately some thing that has 0 threat of happening and is not any longer being promoted by utilising every physique - alongside with Muslims. as properly, Sharia regulation refers to religious regulation or policies, and in simple terms as Jews can stay obeying regulations on beef and different issues, Muslims can stay in accordance to the two Sharia regulation and American civil rules.

Hey I am a Christian too...I don't want you to leave..I love cultural diversity...what I don't love is people who bash America and if you are bashing America then you do need to leave and that goes out to Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Muslims whomever..(when I say You..that doesn't necessarily mean you unless it applies)
She was wrong to say that too you if she based that strictly on your religious backgrounds...some people do not realize that just because you are a follower of Islam it does not make you a jihad... Sorry maybe she is having a bad day =)

I don't know which group is worse -- the annoying muslims demanding we bend over backwards for every bizarre demand some imam comes up with, or the wacked-out christians who honestly think the 1st Amendment only applies to them and therefore this is a christian country.
We haven't started shooting or deporting the christians yet, so I'd say you can stay too.

"Claudia" needs to not be so prejudiced against people, if she is a Christian she is not setting an example of how a true Christian should act, and that is open-hearted to all and sharing the gospel. Only God knows whose heart is pure, no statistic can measure only what God can see. Live where you wanna live. In the end God is your judge, not man.

You are a US citizen and thus you belong here if you so choose to. Don't let other's bigotry get you down; know that not all share that with her.
I have never heard the term 'pure christian' but I'm guessing, and I may be wrong, that what she belongs to is a very conservative off-shoot sect of christianity. Don't listen. You have your belief and if you are happy there then that is all that matters.
