Three things:
1. Assuming Jesus actually lived, he lived it; he didn't write about it.
2. He was probably illiterate.
3. Lots of people wrote lots of gospels. The Holy Roman Catholic Church selected a few, threw out a few, and cleaned up the "synoptic" few that they decided to keep.
Don't forget, over the past two millennia, they've also been translated from Aramaic or Hebrew into Greek or Latin, and later into English and whatever else. What we get to read is something different from what the authors wrote. You know - like the game "telephone" in kindergarten. Maybe something else entered into it, too. "None is so blind who will not see." Perhaps the message Jesus wanted to convey didn't need to be written down.

Jesus came to demonstrate the work of the spirit of God. And to do and tell what God had instructed him to- no more no less. He said if you abide in me and my word abides in you. Greater things than these will you do. He said I come to do the work of my father...if you know me ,you would have known the father, for me and my father are one. Jesus knew far more than any man on earth,he was a high intelligence, he knew the thoughts and intent of man. Read the word and then you will see. Get wisdom and in all they getting get understanding....
God invented the word education and placed all things in man even the scientist.....Get Real! Without him we can do nothing each breath we breathe is orchestrated by him..he is life. That alone proves he forgives us and loves even the sinner.
God uses whatever means to get his point across, even today he has not changed. He is determined to not leave us orphaned and he loves us.

He had his disciples to do it. He told them after the holy spirit came on them they would remember all things.
On Pentecost after they come down from the upper room they spoke not only in a language that people from other lands could understand, they spoke as if they were educated and they weren't!
Jesus came to die on the cross for our sins. He let his disciples and others that were filled with the holy spirit (kind of like him doing it eh?) do it for him.
Also it's a know fact the jews could read and write. They were an educated people in that regard at least.

In order for there to be proper witnesses, according to the law they claimed they were following when they condemned him.
And by the way, for the sake of the ignorant ones who answered, if he were illiterate, then he couldn't go into a synagogue and read the scriptures out loud.

Because he was a man of action. He did not have time to sit around writing. He was too busy spreading information to the people and out helping those in need.

Because we are to believe in him by faith.
Jesus was literate, all boys of that time period went to temple and learned to read and write the first 5 books of the Torah.

Jesus was trying to get the people, prophets, and townspeople to believe (in Bible times) first. God allowed us to get our Biblical education through Prophets that listened to Jesus (i.e. Mark, luke, John, Matthew, David, and many others). So that way God made it fair, and perfect (as usual).

he wasn't literate
*Edit: OK, all of you who gave me thumbs down - dont you know that the majority of people were illiterate at the time? Sure he spent some time in the temple but I bet he did not learn how to write. Literacy was a privilege, even those who were "literate" could often just copy letters onto paper and had no understanding of the words they were copying. This is why there were so many scribal errors.
