Like, lets say, that your kids move out, and go to college, to better themselves, instead of crying, do you break out in a song?
And not a "worship" song either, I'm talking like, singing, when your suppose to be talking.

About religion. Who was right professor or student when it came to is Jesus real. The student went on faith and the professor went off of teaching. Please if you are reading this please post it to this question. I need it to tell my ex husband on how to explain that God is real. Any other sites or help would be greatly app. Thanks :)

a few months ago, I was visiting my aunt when I took a picture of my son and cousin's daugter. I just got it developed and in the background there is a silhouette of a man. the only people in the house at the time was my aunt, my cousin (who was both in bed because of the flu), my little cousin,my son and an infant.

other then a spirit, what could of caused this to happen?

shouldn't all the christians be able to agree on one christian church? if there is only one god and only one truth, shouldn't they be able to decide on this truth? the fact that there are so many denominations says to me that none of you really know what the bible means and are only interested in your own interpretation of it.

To be sure, there are some who claim there will be no consequences whatsoever: that I and my family will be re-united. But my understanding of Christian scripture doesn't agree with theirs.

Of the others: either I am told I did not know my wife well enough to be -sure- she was not a closet christian, or I am told that the only way I will see my dead son again is if I convert to Christianity.

Must you use the cause of my grief as an opportunity to preach?

Must you tell me that your god will keep my son from me unless I convert?

Must you insult the intimacy of my relationship with my wife by suggesting she was a closet christian?

Can you not stop preaching long enough to respect the dead and the one who loved them?

in the begining there were adam and eve and if i remember my bible correctly they had two sons cain and able. so were did the rest of us come from? did cain and able have sex with there mother to create children or did adam and eve keep having children until they had a few girls then brother and sisters had sex with each other until there was a decent population of people? but if thats the case then does that make incest okay? and if it does then how come people can't commit insest today? i mean it was okay with god back then.

Do you actually think the early Christians believed the same things? No. The Gnostic Christians believed in a Mother/Father God...that is until the promenent Christian church in Rome destroyed them. The only way the early church was able to gain prominence of their beliefs was to destroy by the sword all those who disbelieved. Do you wish that power today? God never taught us to destroy opposition (unless it was the lessor gods of the Old Testament). God has always taught us to "Love Ye One Another." The same applies today.

God created man as his equal,
And in the most common Religions, God is talked about as a male, right?
So, based on the qualities of man, God would have to show sexual behavior (like every male creature), wouldn't it be the next logical step, to confirm God/Allah/Jahwe/... is gay?

at my highschool, the only form of release time offered to freshman and sophomore students is release time to go to mormon seminary off campus. I feel that this is wrong, for many reasons, particularly because it is unfair to other students, and the same opportunities are not being offered for other religions and because the church should not be allowed to offer classes through the school. My boyfriend is mormon, and when it was just us talking, he said he was impartial to the class being banned, but as soon as we were talking in a group with one of my mormon friends he was fighting me on it. I'm not asking who is right, but i want to know why my bf did this, and why, now, after we've finished our group discussion, he's back to saying he's impartial.

And think religions in other parts of the world have it wrong, aren't you saying that your God isn't big enough to reach their side of the planet in ways that apply to them as a culture?
Don't you think God would have a better way of showing him/herself to people without relying on large governments and church groups to do it for him/her?
