Does anyone here, a Christian who devoted his or her life to the Church and is devoted to the religion, ever think, whilst reading some of the post here by the young who claim to be Christian, that some Sunday school teachers weren't "teaching" a whole heck of a lot?

Once was a Christian- been out for 5 years and am now visiting a church with my mom. Every Sunday I always get this feeling in my gut, I get goose bumps, my eyes start to tear up, and I get an overwhelming feeling of guilt. I know God wants me back, I know I could do great things for the Lord, but I keep siining even if I’m in debt, even if I feel like I can’t handle it anymore, and even when I swear I’ll never get high again! I always do.
I want to return to GOD, I feel like a little girl that just wants crawl back into her daddy’s lap to tell him how sorry she is and how she will never do it again, then hug and kiss because daddy is going to make everything ok! But I know that as soon as I get back home, my friends will call and want to stop by and I’ll be in the same hole again.
So what do I do? I don’t want to lose my friends because I won’t do the same things as they do, but I'm not strong enough to hang out without doing it.

Would god send people who were isolated from “thy word” to hell, what if they never had a chance to “know god”. Like the Indians they never knew what the bible was so how could they know what god wanted them to do? How could they know what was good or bad? Like if an Indian was taught their whole life to kill someone who took something from them, then they would not know any better but to kill that person, would god send that person to hell for not knowing that was the wrong thing to do? Think about it, it is not their fault that they did not know what the “right” thing to do was. This is what makes me question religion allot, because if some tribe in South America were all taught to eat a person for, I don't know, walking on property of theirs, how would they know that killing and eating them was the wrong thing to do? What do you think?

The Old Testament teaches that Jacob wrestled with God. In fact, the Old Testament records that Jacob not only wrestled with God, but that Jacob prevailed (Genesis 32:24-30). Now, bear in mind, we’re talking about a tiny blob of protoplasm wrestling the Creator of a universe 240,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 miles in diameter, containing over a billion galaxies of which ours—the Milky Way Galaxy—is just one (and a small one, at that), and prevailing? I’m sorry, but someone was a couple pages short of a codex when they scribed that passage. The point is, however, that this passage leaves us in a quandary. We either have to question the Jewish concept of God or accept their explanation that “God” does not mean “God” in the above verses, but rather it means either an angel or a man (which, in essence, means the Old Testament is not to be trusted). In fact, this textual difficulty has become so problematic that more recent Bibles have tried to cover it up by changing the translation from “God” to “man.” What they cannot change, however, is the foundational scripture from which the Jewish Bible is translated, and this continues to read “God.”

Jesus was the son of god, your personal lord and savior. All of the other son's of god are false, as are all of the other gods. Those that do star, your god will know that you were willing to stand in the ranks of those that did not deny him when asked by a non-believer. Failure to star will be counted as your disbelief that the above statements are true, and you might as well hang yourself for denying god and his son.

If we could stop this from going around the court system, we could really get Jesus back into the classroom. There are so many people who get married, then married again and again and again or look at other people of the same sex to watch them. It's sad, and I think it's not good. Sometimes they meet in the randomest places, and they don't think about families. Women love leadership and my wife is happy too that I 've been that way. Some lead, and some follow. Christ gave us an edict, and it's wonderful. We love other sexes, not our own right?

There are some who want to lead you wrong here, but careful. THey are sly, and use humor to undercut us.

Evolutionists think people have bacteria as an ancient ancestor. Creationists think bacteria can only make bacteria
and people can only come from people.

If we have bacteria as ancestors, there should be 1000's of living missing links and 1000's of fossilized missing links. If macroevolution is true, where is the evidence?

If tomorrow morning your oldest son sudddenly dies, and you later found out it was because God instructed the President to do something and he refused, so God killed your son as punishment…. would you be OK with that?

I'm asking because of all the Christians who say that the killing of all the first-born of Egypt, even the first-born of the slaves, and the first-born of people who were locked-up in prison, was JUSTIFIED because Pharaoh refused God, and sometimes God needs to do things like that to get our attention.

So do you really think a slave girl in Egypt deserved to have her son killed by God because Pharaoh wouldn't let the Jews go free? Do you think that slave girl had any say in Egyptian politics? Or was she an innocent victim of a menevolent monster God?

PLEASE READ Exodus 11 before responding. I don’t want to hear anything about how it was actually King Herod that killed the babies in Egypt, or about how the slaves and prisoners were spared. It’s all right the

...That sees the recent events of politics, rising prices for goods and food, and the persecution of Jews and Christians for our beliefs as the "birth pangs" or the begining of the "end times" as described in the Bible?

Are we as Christians pepared for even worse persecutions to come, before we are taken away by our Lord?

Finally are there too many pulpits in America that just won't talk about the subject Christ's return and the events that lead up to it?

No more terror and no more trying to force people into things. There is a good idea, but they need to do it with Jesus Christ, rather than any of that other stuff, those other religions.

I think they are having good ideas. Men being in leading positions. Women are really good too, and do things that show house leadership and pretty behavior. Men do the right thing and take are of the leadership family. Men don't walk around in that culture being attracted to watching men with other men. Women take care of their weddings, and don't remarry on a whim for no reason. Just a whim?

Let's take the Christ back to the Middle East, the birth of our father.
