That's ridiculous. If I believe a flower is red that is not an untruth nor is it meant to deceive.

Without knowing the causes and conditions under which the statement was made, I will suggest that it was in relation to a discussion and intended to make you think at a very deep level.
Work on it from the perspective of answering the question, "Who am I?" And I'll give you something to start with:
1. You are not your name.
2. You are not your physical description.
3. You are not you thoughts, beliefs or emotions.
4. Neither are you what (or who) others see you as.
It is really just a matter of thinking on a different level. And if you spend enough time with it, I am sure you will see that it the statement is accurate.

That is the way certain groups approach teaching that reality is fluid. What we consider a table that is solid and we can sit things on it, is in reality on the cellular level fluid.
If you take an electron microscope and look at anything we think of as being solid, the atoms the item is made of are actually moving around in a primordial soup.
They can not be proven wrong because it actually is true. Even our own bodies are not solid.
There is one school of thought that the concept of god being within us is explained by this same concept. That it is god that holds us together so that we feel solid, when it is scientifically proven that we are not.
It is all actually a very thought provoking idea deserving of intense study, but of course most people will never bother because the blindly accept untruths as truth without question.

You can't prove a negative - ever. Done. Case closed.
You can say anything crazy and really no one can prove you absolutely wrong. The key word is "absolutely" - there is no "absolutely". You can't prove that dropping a stone into water 1 million times that the stone will ALWAYS sink. You have a certainty based on past performance, but hey, on a million and one drops the laws of nature might just bend a little. Prove they won't! You can't.

Simple
Just say that you believe what they are saying to be true. This means now that their statement is false because if you believe they are true then everything can not be a lie, or that they are lying and thus what you believe is truth
or you could just say lies and truth are a matter of perception and from your standpoint everything the believe is a lie including their statement.

Lie is too strong a word, but all of those things are only relatively true. Depending on your understanding and your spiritual growth at the time. There is no permanence so everything changes, including you and your understanding and your consciousness and as those change so do the truths that you once were so certain of.

The statement is self-contradictory, & so it cannot be counted as true or false or proven to be right or wrong. That is, it is structured in such a way that it can't fit into one of those categories.
It's on the same order as the statement, "All generalizations are false, including this one," and such paradoxes as, "If God can do anything, then could He make a rock so heavy that even He couldn't lift it?"

I would respond by saying "Well... i THOUGHT you were intelligent, but you just told me that everything i believe about others is a lie... So being that you have proven to me that you are not intelligent, continuing this conversation would not benefit me in any way."

Based on what barometer is it lie? We don't know what you specifically believe, but I'd say my gut tells me that's some new age mumbo jumbo. Stand firm in who you are, no one can take that from you.
