You betta believe it!
Look at the Life of Jesus! And He also left us with the Word, The Holy Bible.

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.*

Yes actions speak louder than words, but actions good or ill still don't change true or false words. So if a good person says that the world is flat, it is still false....

Actions do speak louder than words, but at the same time, we should never underestimate the power that words can have.

Niether, its the thoughts that speaks louder than actions/words because everything is mental. Everything observed outwardly as actions are perceived as illusions. When you see/hear something that appeares to be outside your being, its actually all happening inside your mind, where it all sparks from.

Of course they do. It's the difference between someone saying "I'd love to help" and the person actually helping out when you need it.

Ever had an argument with someone and said really nasty things you didn't mean and would never act on? Certainly, words can be terrible - or wonderful, as the case may be - but saying nasty things about a person is very different and not quite as bad as DOING nasty things to a person, is it?

Of course, but we want to believe the words don't we? I think that people say a lot of things to us, like how much they may care about us, etc... but then turn around and "do" something that show the opposite. Then we don't know what to believe and it's so hurtful and confusing. I've come to realize that it is their problem; it all boils down to their feelings, wants and needs. It's not against you......It's for them. Make sense?

Yes, actions speak louder than words. If you don't have kids, but watch the kids of other parents, watch what they do. They follow what their parents do. Kids watch more of what their parents do than what they say.

Hi,Caterina,
Yes,I believe it and can prove it.
When my good lady stuck an ice cube down my shirt while I was eating my meal,I could have said 'Iv'e a good mind to pour this bowl of custard over your head'.
Instead,I actually did it.
Far more effective,in a gooey, icky sort of way.
She hasn't picked up an ice cube since.
P.S- Don't use hot custard.
Love and hugs,
Misterviv x

Yes I think that is true, our Post-modern world is looking for what we do, more than what we say. But also bear in mind "sticks and stones etc." so our words can hurt and leave wounds, or they can help and improve situations.
