Would god send people who were isolated from “thy word” to hell, what if they never had a chance to “know god”. Like the Indians they never knew what the bible was so how could they know what god wanted them to do? How could they know what was good or bad? Like if an Indian was taught their whole life to kill someone who took something from them, then they would not know any better but to kill that person, would god send that person to hell for not knowing that was the wrong thing to do? Think about it, it is not their fault that they did not know what the “right” thing to do was. This is what makes me question religion allot, because if some tribe in South America were all taught to eat a person for, I don't know, walking on property of theirs, how would they know that killing and eating them was the wrong thing to do? What do you think?

I'm a Christian and I say probably not. It's not for us to judge. I think God looks at the heart and whether or not the person would want God or is searching for him. The Bible says that if you seek, you will SURELY find him, and that creation is a testament to God's presence that is evidence enough. It is a blessing to know God early in life so that you may have the hope and purpose that comes with it. But I think it goes against the Bible to say that if a person would have accepted God and had a seeking heart, but never got the chance to hear the message, he would still go to hell. Man looks at the exterior, God knows the heart. He's got it covered. He'd do anything short of eliminating free will or the possibility of faith to get a person to come to know him.

I recommend reading the chapters that interest you in "The Case For Faith" by Lee Strobel. It covers a lot of the common, controversial questions in an intelligent, interesting and compassionate way. I don't think you'll regret reading it whether you are a believer or not.

Well to clear things up a bit here , you have found some truth .
First lets start with Jesus . His sacrifice covers the world from
beginning to end . Those who have heard the Word of God , the Gospel and reject it , reject God and go to eternal torment ! . Those who have died before Jesus and those who
have not been given the chance to have had the Word , well
that is something God had already worked out and you can
have complete Faith that God is Just & Fair . For the rest as
Jesus gave the great commission to go and make disiples of
the world . I think that when every tribe and every nation has
had the opportunity to have had the Gospel message given
to them that , that would mark Jesus return ( thats just me thinking this way ) . This is one of the reasons we are doing
so much mission work today in many , many countries , and
trying to write the Bibles truth in so many Languages , so
that all will hear . Amen ......

God does not send babies to hell because they do not know what is right or wrong.

If a person does not know the difference and lives like a cannibal, God will not question him

God will only question people from the things they know.

Incidentally, according to Islam, God has send messengers to all mankind. In different eras perhaps but eventually there were always people who informed those who were ignorant about the Creator of the heavens and the earth.

Thus according to Islam, in order togo to heaven you must believe in One God and do not attribute partners with Him. This is enough for your salvation.

If you havent heard about Him, then you are not guilty of disbelief or sin in the religious term.

First of all the Bible was written very likely by men in the Middle East.
These men did not know there were more animals in the world then they thought(hence Noah's Ark being so believable to them to the point opf putting it in the "word of God"), they did not know there were other continents and that the world was round(Hence the flood covering the entire "flat" world) and they did not know there were other people in those continents.
If they had known there were other people, they woudln't have written "Those who don't know God will go to hell" They assumed they knew all o fearth and now had to convert everybody to believe in this stupid book they made.

Seeking God is distorting your rational mind to believe in this Imaginary friend.

Yes....it's one of the great moral quandaries. I think the official party line is that, if they've never been exposed to The Word, people get judged by their works instead.

Which means that, because all the Christians I've met have been such irrational morons and were such poor representatives of their religion, they've actually succeeded in CONDEMNING me to Hell with their incompetence, when otherwise I might have had a chance of being redeemed....

Those that have departed mortality that were not exposed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ will, and are, receiving instruction in the spirit world. Those spirits will have a choice to either reject or accept this Gospel and progress accordingly.

They will not go to hell unless they follow Lucifer's minions. There is a place, or mansion, for everyone based on how they lived in mortality and what they accept as truths in the spirit world.

Every religion considers those outside of its traditions to be heretics or worse.

Islam has this characteristic, Native American religions pandered this belief and just about anyone who says I'm right and you are all wrong harbors this tendency.

I suggest that it is a question of human nature, not religion per se.

God is a GOD OF LOVE AND COMPASSION. we don't know what he would do, but we know that he forgive people. As for now, Chritians are responsible to preach the gospel so one has any excuse. If one had heard the teachings of Christ and doensn't accept. HE is responsible.

There is something in the bible about it, like they get a chance to know Jesus on judgement day or something.

No one really has an answer to your question. The only thing we know is Jesus Christ was the living God who came her to die for our sin as the last sacrafice. To receive eternal life, you must accept Him as your personal savior.

Wether or not someone else does is not my responsibility. I am to accept Him, spread His good news, and love everyone as He would.

The fact is, you know the good news . . have you chosen Him . . .
