well here's something that might help

a riligeos scholar sat up a meeting with a nonbeliever on the other side of the revir, and they invited people over to see who'll convince the majority

when the time came the non believer and the crowd gathered at the arranged place but the scholar wasnt there, so they kept waiting for him 'till they gave up and decided to go home and the non believer said : i told u he was fake!

then all of the sudden the scholar shows up and apologises for being late.

on of the crowd asked why he was late and the scholar replied: well i didnt fine a boat and as u know the river is too dangerous to swim in so i sat ther on the other side waiting for some1 to pass by and help me when all of the sudden i saw roaps and wood fly in the air and work together to creat this raft for me and once it finished i hopped on and sailed up to here.

the crawd broke into laughter and confusion, the non believer said:how do u expect us to believe that a raft built it self!

the scholer asnwerd: if u cant believe that a raft built itself how can u believe that the whole wide world was built by itself without a creator?

sorry i got into details its just that i love this story and it so makes sense =)

If the professor was really a man of history he would know that there is much proof there was a man named Jesus, who came from Nazareth, who went to Jersusalem during Passover where he was killed by crucifixion. That is fact.
When it comes to proof that he was the Son of God, that you cannot debate because faith isn't something you can make anyone believe.
Funny that this was a debate in a US school they used to do that all the time in Soviet Russia to prove their was no God.

I don't think you can prove God as real. And, I don't think it is our job to prove His existence to anyone. As a question my belief in God is through faith and through faith I believe that God has revealed Himself to me. I can't prove that to anyone. I can live my life the way I believe that God has called me to and I believe my actions will speak much louder than my words. If we go out on our own to prove the existence of God we will most likely push people further away. It is so important to be led of the Holy Spirit when even talking to someone seriously about God and His existence. But, to me it really all comes down to faith.

If your ex-husband doesn't believe in God I doubt an anecdotal story about a professor and student would do it.
Does your ex-husband ask strangers to help him get you to Not believe in God? Where is the respect?

You can't explain to anyone that God/Jesus is real. They have to find out for themselves, as I had to do, and am still doing. They have to find their own truths. Even if that is different from your own.

I figure I believe in two religions. Wicca and Satanism.

I'm a Satanic Witch. It took me quite a while to find the religions that fit me.

If your husband chooses a different path, so mote it be.

Trying to explain god is real is like trying to describe the color blue to a person born with blindness.

There is actually more evidence to prove God and Jesus are not real and I am a Bishop who will admit this freely.

If you can explain without a doubt that Jesus and God are real please let us all know so we can move on! hehe

just show him proof around us.... like the grand canyon, where he single handily took out the romans giant ape like creature, kingus kongus. Or you can tell him about people who love him dearly, like Rupe, a serial killer, who beat, tortured and raped several small children, but who assured me that god has forgiven him and he will be going to heaven. Or you can show him how the devils finger prints are on all the dinosaurs bone, cause he planted them to "test" us. Or............. ohhhhh.... was this a trick question?

It got deleted because she realized that it was ridiculous.

The professor stated that the theory of evolution is where Man came from monkeys. No professor would EVER say that.

In this case the student was right. You get to heaven by faith in Jesus.

I wouldn't bother. It was one of those made-up stories to try to make non-religious people sound arrogant, conceded, and overall wrong. He really won't appreciate it. And I bet that's one of the reasons he's now your ex.
