What EXACTLY made you believe that you had found the truth? Also, what were you practicing before your conversion?

The beautiful young seventeen year old woman that was brutally murdered this week has not gone by the way in my heart. I know she is not alone. I also know there are men in my country that would not hesitate to do the same thing if they thought they could get away with it. I am familier with womens shelters and have experienced violence and violation first hand.

Obviously not all men are of purverse and unevolved staight, but I am more concerned about those that are and what can be done about this from a spiritual point of view. I think men themselves have a responsibility to turn this around.

Women are not chatel. We own our own bodies, we are not slaves. I do not respect these men and it takes a lot for me to acknowledge within myself that they are humanbeings. An admission I am not proud of.

Gaia weeps.

Peace.

There was a day where I truly gave my heart to Jesus. I felt happier than I've ever felt before. The world was a marvelous place and I felt like I had a destiny.

The next day when I woke up I felt nothing at all. The feelings of the day before were gone. What happened? And no, I did not become an atheist because of this.

Why also did I feel the exact same way when I followed Buddhism?

if you need 20 dollars from me what must i have first of course
" 20 dollars"
So if we are to receive Eternal Life from Jesus what must He first have Eternal Life.
Eternal meaning NO beginning no end hallelujah. He has wrought for us an eternal inheritance because He is Eternal Infinite He Is God.

Jesus said I and My Father are one. John 10:30 and He wants us to be apart of His divine nature. He can only gives us it if He is God. Hallelujah!!

You can not serve God with the nature you are born with.

that nature needs to be radically executed by God and His Holy Spirit infused into you.

Mel says his wife could be going to Hell because she's an Espicopalian and according to the Pope only Catholics go to Heaven. I used to be a Baptist and they told me the Catholics were going to Hell! I'm so confused! By the way, I always choose the most ludicrous answer as the best one. Do your worst.

It states(NIV)-- the Lord God formed the man from dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living being. This is talking about the first man and how he became alive.
Try these to prove God is against abortion...
Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew you...
Psalms 139:13-14 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

Luke 1:41 ...the baby leaped in her mother's womb...

and these make reference to removing a baby from the mother's womb as terrible...
2Kings 12:15-16
Hosea 13:16
Amos 1:13
Abortion is wrong to God. He is against it.

Seeing as people who believe in aliens are generally considered nuts.

What is more likely????

1) That somewhere out there among the vastness of space that somewhere an alien race has evolved (whether they have or ever could visit earth is another argument).

or

2) That one day a being beyond our understanding got bored and decided to create the earth!!!!

Come on then, answer one or two!

And I don't want to see the word "faith", that's just a cop out for stuff you don't understand and your general fear of death!!!

It is mandated by law (at least in my state) to go to AA meetings after an alcohol related charge. All of the AA meetings here are held in a church where they have to recite the "Serenity prayer"

Isn't this a violation of the seperation of church and state?
What can I do about it?

Another high ranking Christian theologian, Leutheuser, believed that the Holy Spirit moves where it chooses, and stated that, “more spirit of religion has come to Germans through Hitler, than through many of the churches.” (Julius Leutheuser. “Die deutsche Christusgemeinde,” p. 18,19) This same Christian leader asserts that “Germany has been given a mission from God. The leader and prophet is Adolf Hitler.” (SiegfriedLeffer. “Christus im Drittem Reich der Deutschen,” p. 13-18)

I asked a question here that was removed. I could understand this, due to our mixed company. But then another one was removed that had been resolved 2 weeks before, at the same time. That one got to me. It had wonderful answers on it that had I known the question was at risk I would have printed it up and kept it as a hard copy!

Is this common?

Only look this, Matthew 10:34
"Do not think that I have come to bring peace upon the earth. I have come to bring not peace but the sword.
Or this:
John 2: 14In the temple courts he found men selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. 15So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple area, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.

I preffere Gandhi, he never was involucred in violent acts or said violent messages.

i'm pagan and often meet wonderful people of all different faiths. this past week i met a great catholic lady and we shared some fun times and great conversation. we want to continue to hang out, but the problem is, i don't know if i should tell her that i'm pagan or not. i feel guilty not telling her because i know some catholics (and other people of different religions) think pagans are evil and won't be friends with us.

so i would like to hear from catholics and pagans if you think i should tell her, and why/why not.

They "believe" that Christ is the arch angle Micheal. Can you prove this with scripture for a fact? Also, JW's believe the Holy Spirit is "God's active force. Scriptural Proof? Don't try to talk me into the trinity. It is not scriptural. I am not buying into opinions here. Just Facts. Thankyou ahead of time.
