Only look this, Matthew 10:34
"Do not think that I have come to bring peace upon the earth. I have come to bring not peace but the sword.
Or this:
John 2: 14In the temple courts he found men selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. 15So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple area, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.

I preffere Gandhi, he never was involucred in violent acts or said violent messages.

Gandhi, who was never involved in violent acts or said violent messages?

"WE ARE therefore presented with the seeming anomaly of a Gandhi who, in Britain when war broke out in August 1914, instantly contacted the War Office, swore that he would stand by England in its hour of need, and created the Indian Volunteer Corps, which he might have commanded if he hadn't fallen ill with pleurisy. In 1915, back in India, he made a memorable speech in Madras in which he proclaimed, "I discovered that the British empire had certain ideals with which I have fallen in love...." In early 1918, as the war in Europe entered its final crisis, he wrote to the Viceroy of India, "I have an idea that if I become your recruiting agent-in-chief, I might rain men upon you," and he proclaimed in a speech in Kheda that the British "love justice; they have shielded men against oppression." Again, he wrote to the Viceroy, "I would make India offer all her able-bodied sons as a sacrifice to the empire at this critical moment To some of his pacifist friends, who were horrified, Gandhi replied by appealing to the 'Bhagavad Gita' and to the endless wars recounted in the Hindu epics, the 'Ramayana' and the 'Mahabharata,' adding further to the pacifists' honor by declaring that Indians "have always been warlike, and the finest hymn composed by Tulsidas in praise of Rama gives the first place to his ability to strike down the enemy."

Gandhi said "First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win." So you see, Gandhi provoked his enemies into committing violence against him so that he could win by being the victim. And it worked.

Yahushua (his name never was Jesus, so why call him that?) never was a peacemaker during his first ministry. He gives peace to His followers, such that those who truly follow Him are at peace. But there are many who follow Him in vain, these do not have peace inside, nor can they live in peace with others. Yahushua's teaching is such that the two types are driven apart from one another. And one can tell them apart by the fruit of the Spirit. That is love, such that those who are truly of Yahushua will love others even though they have theological differences. Those who use the name 'Christian' in vain, use theological differences as a reason not to love even fellow Christians.
Unfortunately for many non-believers, they observe the majority of 'Christians' who fall into this latter group, and think that they are living as Yahushua instructed. In essence, they are false or poor witnesses.
It is one of the main reasons we are to hate the Nicolations and beware large churches. For the larger the flock, the greater number of wolves to fleece them.

yes Jesus is a peace maker the two verse that you quoted mean this . matt see Jesus did not come to bring peace for the world for he wasn't for the world he was here for our salvation in other words he was here for the people not for the planet . understand that when Jesus said i have come to bring not peace . in this it means that when you follow Christ you make your self know to Satan and Satan will use every one around you including your family to drive a wedge between you and god . see the closer you get with god the closer Satan will try to separate you from him . and the sword is the word of god the bible for the sword (bible ) is sharper than any two edge sword and cuts deeper into the bone and morrow. someone can cut your body but in time they heal but when you use words they can mentally damage someone for the rest of their life . and in john the people their were more worry about making money than worshiping god for Jesus said later in the chapter that you made the house of god into a den of thief .

I'm not even christian, I'm Muslim and I still know that that is a crazy question! You are so wrong. He came as a prophet of Allah for people to worship the right way. He was someone who was loved by people and especially God.I would research Jesus (peace be upon him) more.

Jesus is a peacemaker, but He is also a warrior, and He is King. You minidiosfalso, will bow your knee, and proclaim Him Lord of Lords, and King of Kings. I just hope, for your sake, that you do it this side of the grave.

Gandhi died, and is still dead. Jesus Christ is very much alive. I guess I prefer someone who is alive to someone who is dead.

I will proclaim the Glory of the Lord among the nations!

Don't forget that Jesus also got angry with a fig tree. He was truly NOT a peacemaker. He was not much of a family man either, stating that his disciples should leave their families to join him in his "mission".
