The virgin Mary in the grilled cheese sandwich is as a convincing argument as the rest of it.

i'm an atheist and the two acceptable arguments i've got heard for the existence of God are a million) you may no longer instruct he does not exist 2) The Bible says this is real those arguments are completely unsound, for this reason i'm an atheist.

Either the issue of evolution and an old/ young earth.

But on a level of opinion (well, i guess it's all opinion), the thing that converted me to atheism is the fact that i found it absurd that god would care so much about faith. With todays understanding of the universe, you're gonna have people who simply do not believe in a god. We don't want to go to hell, we simply can't believe. If you were born in indonesia for example, you have a good chance of becoming a muslim. Do you really think an adult Muslim, having been indoctrinated into Islam since birth, will hear about Christianity one day and decide to convert? No.

Most convincing thing I've heard that differs from Christianity...

An illiterate man with no prior knowledge of Christianity recites an entire story in a cave to a scribe. They come out with a book of beliefs, said to have been the word of God spoken through a man, that highlights almost identically the creation story, information about moses, words of Christ and basic Christian beliefs right down to the second coming of Christ.

I find it amazing how a religion supposedly so seperated from Christianity has the same information from years and miles apart without even knowing eachother.

Interesting.

I've spent most of my life searching for any convincing argument that supports God's existence in objective physical reality and I've found none. That's why I remain an atheist.

No one or nothing could ever convince me not to believe in God my Father and Jesus his Son. I would like to be a fly on the walls of the Pearly Gates when these atheists die and finds out that God is really real. We can always hope they'll see the light before they pass.

That would have to be the argument that Major Nelson wasn't the first Gay astronaut and was in fact a penisless wonder which explains his void of sexual relations with Jeanie. I see the possibility for this to the non-believer but those of us who have trained knowledge and have dedicated our lives to studying Jeanies every curve and inch of her sensuously perfect skin realize the obvious, Major Nelson was infact Gay and only used Jeanie to lure Major Healey into his house in hopes of making him his *****-boy.

I don't think there is anything likely to convince me that my Christian faith is wrong. It has been built up over 86 years However, if I have got any part of it wrong, I'm convinced God will reveal it to me.
Of course, I can't answer for atheists, but many (including great names) have been converted - C.S.Lewis, that great academic and thinker for example, who saw the truth at the age of around 40.

Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, Jimmy Swaggert, Ted Haggard, Billy Graham (and his offspring), Benny Hinn, Oral Roberts, and every other televangelist and fundamentalist nutjob ever to stand in front of a camera and say god loves us, but wants us to send them money.

Not a thing.

But then the usual stuff like Pascal's Wager and argument from design is so common that I just ignore it.
