God gave me my willful spirit and inquiring mind. I believe He gave us free will and perhaps that is why we're in the mess we are today. Aside from that, the holy Spirit is always infused in the human Spirit. We have within us, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit if we want to believe we are all children of God. I think we are. We don't have to be blindly obedient, subservient puppets on a string to serve God. We actually better serve Him when we have minds of our own. You've got to be able to think in order to know what to do. You most certainly can serve God with the nature you were born with. He gave it to you for that purpose.

Yes! i agree

One of the Bible's strongest statements about how God looks upon us in our natural condition is found in Ephesians 2:1-3. Here He states that men are "...BY NATURE, THE CHILDREN OF WRATH..." What an awesome testimony to come from the One Who created us! Who could possibly know what we are better than He?

Yet, this comes as no surprise to us... does it? Something inside us agrees with God. We somehow seem to know about a special spiritual need that would bring us close to Him. We crave that closeness, and although we can't explain it there is no doubt that we need it.

According to the Bible passages already studied, every person since Adam has sinned and come short of the glory of God. Because of this natural state of sinfulness, each of us stands condemned in the sight of God.

If you want to serve God, Ye must be Born Again.
In John chapter 3, He plainly says that except one be born again, he cannot see, he cannot enter, the KINGDOM OF GOD. If you are belong to the KINGDOM OF GOD. then you can SERVE HIM.

You are very right!!!!! I will tell you something that happened to a woman who had been praying to be filled with the Holy Ghost. She kept praying and praying, and her prayer never seemed to get answered, well one day she was standing outside next to a tree in her yard and she said to God, "God I am going to run around this tree and I will not stop until you fill me with the Holy Ghost". This is exactly what she did, and about 5 minutes into her run she started screaming, jumping up and down, shaking, and even fell to the ground speaking in tongues. Now as I am typing to you, this woman is still full of the Holy Ghost. Sometimes God can work in silly ways with us and we don't even notice it, remember God has a wonderful personality too!!!!

I do not understand why people make God this big complicated person. God and Jesus are my best friends. I talk to them just like I talk to anyone. On my way to work I talk to them and thank them for the day. I would not take anything for the peace I find in talking to them. They are just a kneel away. I have church in my own house my myself. I will not walk out my door in the morning without reading my little scriptures. I don't mean to sound harsh, but I've always been disappointed when I've gone to church. I was baptized a Baptist, but I believe like the non denominational. My thought is if you can't find better people in the church than out something is wrong. So I do my own thing and I've found peace.

Yes, we have such a wounded and fallen human nature and situation and twisted societies,so we need God's transfusion of Grace and Revelation in Christ through the Holy Spirit.

man was born with the adamic nature..Because of the sin of adam and eve, man needs to be pardoned from sin and then go on to perfection to be purged from the nature of sin. Since a tree cannot produce good fruit and evil fruit, a person has to be purged from the evil to produce only fruit God accepts.

Agreed...
We are born with a "sin" nature - separated from God.
That is why we need to be "born again".
We then become one with God through His Spirit.
Jesus is the only way provided by God to accomplish this.
We live to serve the living God.

Nature denotes evolution, and Holy Spirit denotes mysticism. You're beginning to sound like an Atheist, which is a good thing. Welcome to the club. We're meeting tonight in front of a public school to decide what our next move will be to bring down Christianity.

Yes. We start out being liars, selfish, and sometimes mean. Think of little kids getting what they want. I believe we learn and grown through example. This is easier with parents who are believers. The Holy Ghost gives us a light and a happiness that improves us dramatically.

No, we are born into sin and must be radically changed...After we accept Him as our Savior, we become new creatures in Christ. Good luck in your search for truth.
