Seeing as people who believe in aliens are generally considered nuts.

What is more likely????

1) That somewhere out there among the vastness of space that somewhere an alien race has evolved (whether they have or ever could visit earth is another argument).

or

2) That one day a being beyond our understanding got bored and decided to create the earth!!!!

Come on then, answer one or two!

And I don't want to see the word "faith", that's just a cop out for stuff you don't understand and your general fear of death!!!

Science is stuck with the problem that something can't come from nothing. So far we haven't been able to explain how the Universe came into existence from nothing. You are of course aware of this. However, I would go with 1 even though it is as impossible as 2. Which of the 2 impossibilities do you choose considering how science closes a blind eye to things it can't explain and if you live long enough your science text books you used in school will be replaced with updated versions that contradict what you were taught. At 47 this has happened quite a few times. Only the young don't realise what's fact today is sometimes myth tomorrow.

Number 1. Is very probable.

I only think you are a nut if you claim to have seen alien life here on earth.

I think both are likely. We don't even understand how most of the things in nature work, we just say the animals are born with an instinct. So, why is either of your two statements beyond belief if we can't explain things in nature?

Never mind faith. If you look at the Hebrew original of Genesis, it refers to the 'Sphere of the Earth' and 'Hanging in nothing'. There is a lot more history to that book than many realise.

no. 1, there is no proof at all for no 2, only proof that it was manufactured by humans for controlling humans who cannot believe in themselves: therefore taking advantage of the insecure and fearfull people to propagate a load of sexist, racist and meek shall inherit the earth hogwash

------------well the last one may be right - if we don't do something about our planet and stop being meek we will inherit what we deserve-- barrenness. we have to stop looking to other people to rescue ourselves and start being mouthy!!!!!

Number 1 is very probable!

My brain says Number 2 is less so.

Don't know who would consider them nuts, probably religious nuts... Most scientists, while not openly claiming in their fields, as it is not observable yet, but most scientists certainly believe that the probability that many planets with life out there exist is very high.
