Do current events affect our biological clock?
Because this is getting beyond weird.

for anyone, atheists, christians, agnostics, muslims..etc etc. But just pick one question, I know there are many. But the worst one?

I get tired of 'how can you believe that there is no god?'

Behe's notion of "irreducible complexity" tells us that individual components of a complex biological system could not have evolved independent of each other because they would have no evolutionary function on their own.

The eye and bacterial flagellum have both been offered as prime examples of irreducible complexity but both have been soundly refuted by science as we've shown both evolved through a series of gradations and in fact, all components making up each system have at 1 time served a purpose independent of the system.

Keep in mind, a system that cannot function without 1 of it's components (take away the lens and the human eye can't see) is not, by definition, irreducibly complex unless it can be shown that each component could not have evolved on it's own.

So I'm looking for a new example, 1 that holds up.

Anyone?

How can you deny the existence of God? I know He's real. Very, very real.

He's omni-present. He exists in the minds of a freakin' lot of people. He's all over our laws, He's in our courthouses, from time to time He still even visits our schools. He's on almost every street corner, where people preach about him. Sometimes He even comes banging on my door on saturday morning at 9 am, when two really, really annoyingly dressed guys feel the need to talk about Him.

He's all-powerful. He exists in the mind of a president that has the power to blow up this entire planet with pressing one button. This presidents even knows He talks to him.

Ok, He doesn't exists in the rest of this Universe, but you don't care about the Universe. I haven't seen any of you march on the streets when Pluto lost its status of being called 'planet'.

On Earth He's very real. Atheists, how can you deny all that? And how can you not be very, very scared of Him?

don't you feel the discription of the harlet in the bible is appropriate to teach them. If everyone could read this part of the bible we would all be well in tune of the obvious signs.

The sun, stars moon, planets, etc. Even the baby in the womb is in a round water bag & the baby herself starts out a cell that multiplies itself into a baby to be born?

Do your think God likes to throw balls? Do you think this is one reason why we like to play ball games, starting at playing catch as a baby?

Why do many Protestants claim they are believers in Sola Scriptura (bible alone authority) and yet they attend bible college (which they now call seminary) taking courses under different pastorial instructors who teach them an authoritative interpretation and imbrace those interpretations but obviously not thru the bible alone? sounds like one more contradiction to me.

BTW seminary was a creation of the counter-reformation for the better formation of Catholic teaching to combat those heretical teachers opposing the Church authority.

Some people ex-communicate homosexuals because the bible bans homosexuality (although now episcopalian bishop is a gay and some priest say that they several time had homosexual relationship).

Though it is disgusting for me to see 2 guys kissing each other, it is their right. A neighbour who is a gay loves his boyfriend so much - even he dared his family for the relationship.

What should the community's response be for homosexuals?

When I was in elementary, a teacher was expelled because some parents know he was a homosexual. I can't say it was just or not for him because the school's ethics ban it. But now he is married and have 2 children, his partner moved to the Netherland and died there b/c of AIDS.

Is it wrong if I still consider that homosexuals are abnormals? In college a classmate sometime touched my hands & finger (un)intentionally. The day I know he's a homosexual is the last day I talk to him - I'm so scared & terrified. Am I wrong at this point

You have to look back in your Watchtower booklets and realize that your society has predicted the world would end at least 3-4 times in the past 100 years. How come they haven't got it right yet? Doesn't the Bible warn us about false prophecy? Also where in the Bible does it mention that we should reject our family and friends if they leave the faith?

Gen 1:26 ¶ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

It doesn't mean god is a trinity.

In the semetic languages such as Arabic, aramiac, Hebrew.

There are two types of plurals:

1) The plural of number.

2) The plural of respect.

The verse doesn't mean god is a trinity. if you say that then he can't be one he has to be three according to you.

You can't have it both ways, he is either one or three, not both.

This verse and many like it refer to the plural of respect. it only glorifies god.

Like when a king says: "We have decided" or "come join us"

it has much more statues then saying "I have decided". "come
join me".

If you don't believe me as an expert in the semitic languages.

Those trying to lend scientific credence to The Bible often cite Isaiah 40:21-22 - "the circle of the earth."

Of course a circle is flat. So the above verse doesn't help.

I've been told time and time again that The Bible speaks of the Earth as a sphere or globe. Where?

And what about these verses?
