ham is pork.Pork is concidered unclean as pigs are scavengers and feed on anything. Many muslims believe that the pig is the animal that demons were cast into.

Same as the reasons Jews are not allowed to - because God said so.
And also the pig is an unclean animal, carries many diseases, and pork is very unhealthy to eat.
Have you ever tried to drive behind a truck load of pigs? I have! Jesus never ate pork, so anyone who wants to follow his example should also avoid pork.
I have read that human meat tastes like pork. Does anyone know if this is true? I know for a fact that a truckload of pigs smells like a thousand unwashed humans.

Pigs are not the only animal Muslims cannot eat.
Under normal circumstance (when youre not in danger of death by hunger) we're not allowed to eat animals that:
-eat red meat, animals with talons for example
- have been brutally killed like: bombed, poisoned or tortured
-eat animals that are unclean for consumption: pigs
Recent studies show that pig meat is the only kind of meat that gives brain worms if its undercooked. Studies show that due to strict dietary conditions in Muslim countries, the number of people suffering from brain worms are negligible.
Pigs also do not throw away most of their urine and since they do not have necks; they cannot be slaughtered so that all the blood leaves the body. Thus leaving blood inside the animal.

This is a food law which is for every human,not just Muslims.Pigs dont have sweat glands,so they have toxic waste built up in their systems.You ingest these toxins when you eat pork.The same go for shrimp,lobster,crab and any bottom feeder.They are scavengers that clean up the ocean.They were not intended to be eaten.If you will notice,the next time you cook pork,take a good whiff,it smells like sweat!I get sickened by it.(My huband and sons still eat pork.)

It's not supposed to be just the muslims, but Jews, and Even Christians according to some, after checking with your nutritionist, you'll find that pork is not very good for you.

in the old testament the jews were not allowed to eat unclean meat (pork) because of all the germs that get in the meat. muslims on the other hand are wacked out and need mental help.

Because they are harmful to health. Another reason is that in Islam, it is not allowed to eat the meat of bad dirty animals, animal who are fierce because of their psychological effect on human mind to be fierce and to be dirty. Today modern science has proved that that animal has a bad effect on body and mind.

God has forbidden it for his chosen people.
The OT says they are forbidden because they have cloven hoofs but do not chew their cud.
If that fact changes then Christians and Jews can eat pork.

I dont think they can and in fact i have been to the middle east and you cant even get pork product.
