How can you deny the existence of God? I know He's real. Very, very real.

He's omni-present. He exists in the minds of a freakin' lot of people. He's all over our laws, He's in our courthouses, from time to time He still even visits our schools. He's on almost every street corner, where people preach about him. Sometimes He even comes banging on my door on saturday morning at 9 am, when two really, really annoyingly dressed guys feel the need to talk about Him.

He's all-powerful. He exists in the mind of a president that has the power to blow up this entire planet with pressing one button. This presidents even knows He talks to him.

Ok, He doesn't exists in the rest of this Universe, but you don't care about the Universe. I haven't seen any of you march on the streets when Pluto lost its status of being called 'planet'.

On Earth He's very real. Atheists, how can you deny all that? And how can you not be very, very scared of Him?

You are going to have to watch out, markyyy, they'll pull your tea and crumpets rights if you keep this up.

You're right about one thing that even 'they' wouldn't disagree over, however, their whole 'deal' is very, very scary.

Pass the toasted puppies.

Well - there is a reason for God creating Satan. You know - to keep the yin & Yang of things in balance. But he obviously had a few too many Gin & Tonics when he came up with Republicans... -- Just think of what the world would be like if God hadn't hadn't liked his cocktails a bit too much..

first off you are under a mis-conception. You think just because you believe that everyone else must as well. I won't say that your wrong about the existance of a higher power, but just because your so positive dosen't make you right, or any one else that is positive either way. Christians need to get over theirselves. I total believe in a higher power, not the christian God however. but I, and those who believe the same as I, will not try to force feed it down the worlds throat or flat out tell everyone else they are wrong. All I can say is how can you not deny. I'll tell you for the same reasons they do, because it is a BELIEVE.

Firstly, I want to answer the question. I am a Catholic, and I believe and love God, but don't accuse people who don't! This wasn't a question, it was u stating ur opinion.

Now, I want to reply to Barney D. Here's a story to explain the suffering:

A man went to a barber shop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They talked about so many things and various subjects. When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: “I don't believe that God exists.”

“Why do you say that?” asked the customer.

“Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things.”

The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop.

Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt. The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber: “You know what? Barbers do not exist.”

“How can you say that?” asked the surprised barber. “I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!”

“No!” the customer exclaimed. “Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside.”

“Ah, but barbers DO exist! What happens, is people do not come to me.”

“Exactly!”- affirmed the customer.“That's the point! God, too, DOES exist! What happens, is, people don't go to Him and do not look for Him. That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world.”

He exists in your mind as a delusion.

What does Pluto now being called a planetiod instead of a planet have to do with atheism. With new information, science is always mailable to new conclusions.

YOU ARE SO SILLY!! I thought you knew Atheists don't really deny, they're just scared to admit, because they are so evil & corrupt & haven't got any morals & are decadent & sinful. They are scared silly that if they admitted, they'd all go to the lake of fire, suffer the iron rod, burn in torment & pain eternally.

Didn't you KNOW that???

Yes, he's as existent as the magic invisible flying puppies that hide outside in the trees.

Why, do you deny the awesomeness of magic puppies?

Come Easter the Easter Bunny is everywhere, yet I don't believe he's real.

I'm not scared of him, but his followers have me a little worried at times.
