I believe that the inspired writers warned the churches against falling away so that this would be the means in which the end is accomplished. I do believe that we are eternally secure in Christ, but those who fall away were never truly Christians. All those elected before the foundation of the world will be saved at the final judgment. However, those who flake out before the end never had the saving grace of God to begin with because they never heeded the warnings to persevere in faith.

Since everyone's telling them.

There was a huge flood, and the water got so high that people had to climb onto their roofs to escape the rising water. One woman climbed out onto her roof and sat there praying. Pretty soon a man in a canoe came by and asked her if she wanted a ride to safety. She replied, "God will provide." An hour later, a man in a motorboat drove past, asking her if she needed help. "God will provide," she said with a smile. An hour later, a helicopter came by and asked her the same question. "God will provide!" she said cheerfully. By then, the water had risen so far that she was unable to stay on her roof and drowned.

When the lady got to heaven, she asked god, "Why didn't you save me, god?" And he replied, "I sent you two boats and a helicopter!!! What more did you want?!?!"

Modern KJV

There can be no mix up on the ancient words for Astronomers and wise men. It was intentional censoring.

Genesis 1:1 - In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Jeremiah 32:17 - Ah, Lord GOD! You Yourself made the heavens and earth by Your great power and with Your outstretched arm. Nothing is too difficult for You!

Philippians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

“To suppose that they eye, with all its [complex parts] for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of [shapes and colors], could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest possible degree … The belief that an organ as perfect as the eye could have been formed by natural selection is more than enough to stagger anyone.”

It has been calculated that the chances for formation of ONE human eye would be 1 in 10^266.

"O God, our Father, we pray that the people of
America, who have made such progress in material
things, many now seek to grow in spiritual
understanding.
For we have improved means, but not improved
ends. We have better ways of getting there, but we
have no better places to go. We can save more
time, but are not making any better use of the time
we save.
We need Thy help to do something about the
world's true problems - the problem of lying, which
is called propaganda; the problem of selfishness,
which is called self-interest; the problem of greed,
which is often called profit; the problem of lust,
masquerading as love; the problem of materialism,
the hook which is baited with security.
Hear our prayers, O Lord, for the spiritual
understanding which is better than political
wisdom, that we may see our problems for what
they are. This we ask in Jesus' name. Amen."

~ Peter Marshall

I came across a story about a boy who was told that God/Buddha existed in everything including the boy. The boy was so smug and fascinated with this that when he came upon an elephant and its rider he refused to get out of the narrow road (because they would move out of his way! For he was in essence God). When the boy almost died he went to his master who told him he had failed to see God in the elephant and the rider... who had told him to get out of the way.

Does anyone know this story or a website linked to it?

If you have a universe, and a bunch of people are convinced that it's "all of creation", does that change what it really is?

hosted by one of those ‘conspiracy-theory’ type guys who has also never been to a mason meeting?

And more importantly, do any of you actually demand any kind of proof before you believe anything or do you just rely on conjecture for all your facts?

I see a lot of atheist and others on here slamming Christians and we just want you to know that it's ok. We don't mind if you curse us. Jesus said we would be cursed in His name and blessed for it. The more you curse us, make fun of us, put us down and slander us the more we will love you, cherish you and embrace you. We've read the book and our side wins. But even unto the end of days we will pray for you and our hearts will be yearning for your salvation.
God bless. We love you.

These are not floaters people, floaters are dead cells in your eye balls which contribute to etchy images when you look at the blue sky or a white background.
Blue gas particles travelling above you, seemingly aware of your perception of them.Has anyone seen them?3 times I have seen them in 36 years. You dont have to have shamanic beliefs but could they be elementals of some kind? They seem to be aware of the observer/How about they are spirits out for a wander? Then catch you spying them and disappear, you make think I am mad but I have seen them.i want to hear from people who too have seen them not silly theories about what they might be.Have you seen them?yesor no?and where?tell me what you saw?

Or should you try and help them understand how they can get in touch with their soul? But only if they are open to it. If they think people who believe in spirit and God and souls are morons then you have to let them have that right. But you have the right to tell them that calling someone a halfwit or moron just because you don't share their societally-conditioned belief system is abusive.

A nun gets on a bus and tells the driver she only has 6 weeks left to live. She tells him that she REALLY doesn't want to die a virgin but she would like to have sex with a good, unmarried man who has no kids. He agrees and they have wild sex on the bus. Afterwards the driver is feeling really guilty and confesses that he was lying and that he does indeed have a wife and kids. The nun says "that's ok..I lied too..I'm a bloke in fancy dress on my way to a party"

*chuckle*!!

The story is old but is still relevant.

A frog from a big lake wandered & fell down into a well. The frogs of the well asked him,"Where r u from?" I am from a big lake?

How big? A frog leapt and covered 7/8 feet. The lake-frog said- no bigger than that.

Another frog leapt 9 feet and asked ," Is yr lake this big?".No the lake-frog replied. My lake is very big and my father told there is ocean much bigger than that lake!!

The leaders of the frog, leapt and covered one end of the well and reached the other end and asked "Yr lake cant be more than this ?
lake frog said,"Much bigger than that-

They all decided- this frog is idiot. He is blaspheming our belief...there cant be any water body bigger than this well...and all punished that frog by killing him.

BE Honest ! Are you a frog from the well? Do you think the Truth is not more than what you know ??

Surely the leader of the one true church on Planet Earth would not need to join the pagan Masons to gain enlightenment. Joseph already was getting direct revelations from god , why join a cult that uses Luciferian symbols like Pentagrams amd All-Seeing Eyes in its temple worship. Joseph even carried over many of their symbols and temple rituals to the one true church on Planet Earth. Are we to assume that the LDS church endorses the Masons as true? If so, they must be greater than the one true church on Planet Earth because they have been around a lot longer and have influenced the Temple rites and archetecture .

Kierkegaard said that there are three stages of existence: Aesthetic, Ethical and Religious.

I would summarize them like this: The Aesthetic Mind finds Truth through Beauty. The Ethical Mind finds Truth through Reason. And the Religious Mind finds Truth through Faith.

Kierkegaard argued that the Religious Mind was the highest level of existence, that it redeemed the other two.

Do you think he was right or not? Why?
