Or should you try and help them understand how they can get in touch with their soul? But only if they are open to it. If they think people who believe in spirit and God and souls are morons then you have to let them have that right. But you have the right to tell them that calling someone a halfwit or moron just because you don't share their societally-conditioned belief system is abusive.

As you can tell, no one can tell me that I don't have soul.

The problem with such a question is the ambiguity of the language. A naturalist is disinclined to trust in the existence of souls until they can be detected and defined. But a naturalist’s interest in souls would be its properties: Where is a soul located? How heavy is a soul? Can a soul be detected in one’s personality? In one’s body chemistry? How?

Until we know and can commonly define what a soul is, the topic is pointless.

To point you in the right direction, though, the common properties of souls as the vessel of free will compares well to the psychiatric concept of self awareness. We do operate “on autopilot” most of the time, interacting with the world as is readily appropriate, or as we’ve determined is best according to our characters, but when one develops an understanding of their own cruxes (i.e. an alcoholic realizing that if he enters a bar, he will be compelled to drink) he or she becomes aware of the moments in which choice is viable (i.e. before the alcoholic enters the bar) and determines a course of action then. The more self aware one is, the more they operate as a conscious being, and the less they operate as an event in nature (i.e. a rainstorm).

In this context, the soullessness of accusing others is inherent in the purpose of doing so, and in your awareness of this purpose.

Everyone has a soul and none are soul-less! Just because someone doesn't believe in God, doesn't mean they don't have a soul, there is hope for them all.

Not soulless, but extremely ignorant. Every human has a soul. To choose not to believe this shows ignorance. To tell someone else that they have no soul is the height of stupidity and insensitivity.

So what? Maybe their concept of a soul isn't what your concept of a soul is. You don't have a right to press the matter with them, it doesn't effect you one iota.

That's rude and judgemental. Remember, Judge Not. Lest Ye Be Judged!

Everyone has a soul. It would be stupid to tell someone they didn't.
