Since this is in the "Religion & Spirituality" category, will answer in same frame.

The development of "charachter" is through many processes....environment, culture, experiences, likes, dislikes, etc...

As mentioned, 2 stones which have originated at same local but have gone through diff paths end of "different" even though of same substance.

Within mankind, there is also the inborn talents and skills that influence what paths we take and how we look upon what we have learned.

A person with gentleness in their inborn "talents" will seek to see the good.....a warrior will choose to protect and enforce...etc.,.

In the Body of Christ, each man woman and child has their own unique strength and talent that benefits the whole Body of Christ, which is made up of all the children of God

Because we have different proclivities, have grown in different environments, have differente experiences, etc.

If there are two identical rocks, and one is tossed and washed in the sea, whilst another driven by a glacier, would one not expect them to look different from each other?

Why should people with different experiences be any different?
