Paradigm for what in particular? A paradigm is a parameter, so it depends. Even in R &S that's a blanket term! More details please!

I see the world as the stage for where God both works out a way so that created beings can share in the benefits of eternal existence by the choice they make in choosing love and that place wherein He demonstrates His wisdom in casting Lucifer from His prescence for the choice that he made by the demonstration of the benefits towards those who freely choose to worship God and trust Him for that which is best for them.
I am a preterist theologically speaking and do not hold the pretribulation rapture idea as does most of evangelicalism. I think most of the prophesies in the bible have been fulfilled, including the "Great Tribulation" and destruction of the Temple in 70 AD. I think to believe in todays pretribulational rapture theology is to embrace a two fold meaning which sets some of scripture for the church and other parts as for the nation of Israel. Most Christians are not aware of the Zionist movements racists underpinnings where they want Israel to return to its former glory so that they can have 2/3rds of them wiped out as per their interpretation of endtime theology. And then in the same breath to claim themselves as being "Pro-Israel." I personally view God as still having only one chosen people. It began with Him choosing the Israelites but expanded to include the rest of the world through the reconciliation made by Christ upon the cross. Todays Jews are still included as God's chosen people but only in as far as they have accepted Christ as the promised messiah. Prophetically speaking I think the next fulfillment of God's plan seems like the battle of Magog and its alliance coming against Israel and Gods intervention. I do not see this as "Armeggeddon," however. I think that will take place farther down the road. But I am not awaiting some magical whisking away from the troubles to come which cannot be as extreme as the great tribulation which followed the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. I see us in the time where the kingdom of God is not within a temple built with hands but dwelling in the hearts of those who believe and in this sense we have been raptured up into fellowship with Christ upon our acceptance as Him as Lord of our lives.
I know this is not a popular view but it is what the church believed for 1900 years until a paradigm shift occured with the advent of dispensationalism by the scottish theologian Darby who has had the church repeating the phrase Christ's return is forever imminent for 2000 years now. Why many more can't see at what point coming soon actually means coming soon I cannot fathom, but I think it makes the church look foolish in the eyes of a watching world. If that's what the word means;

The way i see the world:

Our existence completely amazes me. It's something that just...is.

Ever since becoming an atheist, there's been the

positive: feeling free. being myself. being amazed yet confused about our existence. enjoying life while i live it.

negative: feeling depressed at times, knowing that this is it. life is simply a one time experience in all of eternity. it's like i never existed.

My goal in life is to simply be happy.

Change is inevitable
There is no god
Life is not fair
Everything and everyone dies
Love (altruism) is (demonstrably) our highest achievement, in that it benefits everyone involved.
We are better, and worse, than we imagine.

That about sums it up.
