And I don't mean a simple kick in the shin by another kid in the school yard... I mean PERSECUTED. Have you ever claimed to have rocks thrown at you every day, or to have an angry mob chase after you with torches and pitchforks, or to have that same mob tie you to a wooden post and set a bundle of sticks ablaze under your feet?

Have any of us EVER made that claim?

Really, if god created man, why did he create him with a useless organ? Even for some of you who accept evolution to some extent, surely you can't think that man evolved not to need the appendix in just a few thousand years. So it must have taken much much longer than that. Say, hundreds of thousands or millions of years. Do you have another reasonable explanation?

And please, no copy and paste scipture.

I am not a Catholic anymore, but i want to belong to a religion. I'm not sure that there is a Devil, or a Hell. I believe in God and that He is loving to all of us. ... I just don't know which religion is for me??

If you had to make a decision, such as allowing your son to die to save a couple hundred people, who would you choose? Your son, or the people you don't know.

I admire the Lutherans and Anglicans, and Methodist etc they at least acknowledge they belong to the Reformation but what about those Baptists, SDA, Mormons, JWs and many other fairly recently created sects of Protestantism who do not accept the reality of their communities being extensions from other Protestant denominations with a history of less than 450 years what are we to make of them?.

On the otherhand you one can appreciate the Baptists et al for realizing that if they cannot claim to be the Church of Christ for 2000 years, all of Christianity is false. So Baptists enter into a revisionism of history to make their particular group relevant it seems, anyone read the Trail of Blood mythology?

Can anyone provide me with the name of a Baptist preacher from the 10th century? How about the 5th century?

im a muslim, but recently i find myself questioning everything becuase each religion i research seems to be preaching the same thing: be good, love god, and youll go to heaven. so why are we all seperated into different religions? there is so much hate between religions nowadays because of terrorism, ignorance, and so many other things.
