Heather, I agree with you. What I see with the Blasphemy challenge is just a bunch of people who hate God so much that they are willing to throw it in God's face and then encourage others to do the same.
The response given in this video has some good points. And that is: that it's not worth this risk, just to have some fun and to show you're not scared of God. Because what happens if you realize suddenly that God is real and you've thrown it back in his face that you want nothing to do with him? To me, poking fun is not a smart thing to do.

Hmm. The guy's not very bright, is he?
If that drivel is "the best response", the believers don't have much, do they? I'd be pretty embarrassed to have that kind of ignorance on my side, particularly as they seemed to think that denying the existence of real human beings is somehow a clever rebuttal to the Blasphemy Challenge. Uh, no, that's just plain lying.
Wouldn't you think that if there were a good argument for the existence of gods, we'd have heard it by now? Doesn't the fact that you can't come up with one kinda tell you something about the quality of that belief?

He kicks it off by denying the existence of particular human beings and then claiming that he's making an equivalent claim to the Blasphemy Challenge.
Look, I know logic isn't exactly the friend of Christianity, but these guys really are embarrassing.

That guy is full of crap. "All atheists" do not use evil in the world as a reason for god not existing.
The blasphemy challenge is kind of silly, but Way of the Master is ludicrous.

First, I hadn't heard of the "Rational Response Squad." Second, I don't really see the need for a response. I believe in God. I don't care if you do.

You (they) entirely miss the point. ... We don't claim to "prove Gods don't exist" (that's impossible!) ... The end is a *most* interesting, down-on-the-knees, *desperate* request to stay with dogma and not follow logic. ... (Are they hurtin'?)
The *Saddest* part is that they admit their premise is "kind'a dopey", but then have ~12 minions DO EXACTLY the SAME!
We just say there's no evidence, like for gnomes or squaks.

That is completely lame.
When will people realize that you can not prove a negative?
And the guys reasons are as bogus as the bible itself. It's laughable, really.

He keeps talking about why things are not proof that God doesn't exist, but it still remains that there is not a single thing whatsoever that "proves" that God does exist.

Oh, I thought that was HILARIOUS! I love it when Christians run their mouths and make themselves look like fools.
That was entertaining.
