I was wondering what "new song" means when dealing with Christianity?

I sing a new song in my heart, a new song of praise to you. All I want to do when I wake up, is put my trust in you. This is a phrase in a song sung at our Church.

It is a love song to God. When Gods love comes into our heart and God saves us from much, we love God much. We sing a new song of praise to God. A love song to God.

Songs of truths praising the true God only, in spirit and truth! as opposed to songs of lies! and half-truths!
