To paraphrase Socrates, truth is to say of what is that it is and what is not that it is not, while false is to say of what is that it is not, or of what is not that it is. Reality is what it is, regardless of what we may believe or not believe about it.

However, this is still not proof that the universe is or isn't "all of creation" (whatever you mean by that). Did you mean that it's all of reality (that is, there's nothing outside the physical universe), that it's all created, or something else?

Our major need today is not for more knowledge as to how to fly through the stratosphere, but more understanding of how to walk upon the face of the earth like human beings created in the image of God. Not more science do we require, but more milk of human kindness. Not more bombs to destroy should be our aim, but more of the blam of healing and building up the wounds of mankind fallen into disunion. Not more philosophy, not more know-how, but know why! Not more knowledge is our greatest need, but more wisdom. [Julius Mark]

And I can't glean wisdom out of your car and boat analogy.

People who believe in Creation, do not believe it magically appeared. They believe it had a coarse set by the Creator. So they would view what it really is, as well as being a creation.
