maybe because the creator is a God of order- think about every breath you take- it is ordered by God- if God did not control every breath we would not even be here. Sometimes meteors fall to earth, sometimes shooting stars- however God orders it all. God is God of order, love , justice and He is the one that gives us life.

1) They do. Shooting stars are all objects running into the Earth's atmosphere. Sometimes they are big enough to make it down.
2) Space is REALLY big. The Earth is really small. It is very easy for objects to miss.
3) The moon acts somewhat as a shield. Look at the images of the back side of the moon and count the craters.
4) The earth is about 4.7 billion years old. A lot of the objects that were in orbits that intersected the Earth's already hit.

Its been here for about 4 1/2 billion years and most of the things that cross our orbital path have already hit the planet. As it has gone along in its orbit it has swept out material that shared the orbit so its relatively clear now. Some objects still hit the earth, lots of debris from space falls on Earth every day. Given long enough it is inevitable that some large object will hit the planet--a comet or a meteor.

Object do run into our Earth all the time.
Periodically, a massive object hits the Earth and kills nearly all life on it.
And stars explode. Just a couple of weeks ago, astronomers observed the largest stellar explosion ever seen. Is that orderly, or not?

Objects run into earth continually, most of them burn up in the atmosphere and do no damage at all. The universe is constantly expanding, so it's not that orderly.

If by the heavens you mean the universe, then you are greatly misinformed. Objects in the universe do behave according to the laws of physics, but the universe is nonetheless expanding and chaotic. And more than 10,000 objects called meteorites strike our atmosphere every day. Objects are slamming into the earth all the time.
Pick up a copy of "Death By Black Hole: And Other Cosmic Quandaries" by Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson. You'll be dismayed to find that the universe is trying to kill us (Tyson's words, not mine).

They do. Luckily, most of them burn up when they hit the atmosphere....but some of them make it to the ground. It's very possible that a big chunk is going to hit us and cause some serious damage.
Space is not orderly. It is very volatile and chaotic.

Just because you don't understand gravity doesn't mean it's not real!

It is simple. The Creator is a God of order and righteousness. Through His infinite wisdom and creativity, all His creations work smoothly without chaos.
