I asked a question here that was removed. I could understand this, due to our mixed company. But then another one was removed that had been resolved 2 weeks before, at the same time. That one got to me. It had wonderful answers on it that had I known the question was at risk I would have printed it up and kept it as a hard copy!

Is this common?

again, the 2nd question was well within the rules guidelines, and had some well-thoughtout answers.

I'm still waiting on the response from them on why that question was removed. Yes, they apparently can remove resolved questions.

Okay, I've noticed that accounts get removed. This is what amazed me. The question regarded, how the mind works. It wasn't to R/S but to Psychology, and it delved into the many layers of our conciousness. and a schooled individual who helped put it into perspective for me.

So, people get removed based on NOTHING?

Here's the deal, the next time you guys blow me away with something that I find relevant, I am going to copy it to my files and keep it until I'M done with it.

As far as being booted off,...that was the reason I questioned Y!A and didn't just forgive or forget the perp. Your booting people off due to another's vindictiveness?

Amazing... boy, it's really in your face; isn't it?

It is very common.

You are talking about removal of questions only. There are instances the whole account itself removed or suspended. Even top (1st top scorer) scorers were removed by Yahoo! Answers just on Reports ( They term it as abuse report) from other participants, without analyzing the pros and cons. These persons have contributed a lot to Yahoo Answers and they are removed on false reports. What you and me can do ? Nothing-

I had a question removed and was just a simple question. I had some crude responses, they should have been removed but not a thing wrong with the question. I never got a notice or anything from yahoo--i really don't know.

It's common. I've had best answers removed weeks and even a month after the question was resolved. That's Yahoo!

God Bless.

Yes. There are allot of intolerant people around. I think there is a possibility that this particular sight or activity may attract people who have unacceptable views in society, social rejects and people perhaps with mental health problems who express their disturbed states on this Webb site. If they did it out in the open they would be subject to criticism and forced into treatment.

I've had quite a few questions removed months after they were resolved.

I didn't know they could remove a question that was already resolved. Why were the questions removed? There must have been a reason.

Sad isn't it. I have had jerks that went back 6 months and looked for reasons to get my questions and answers removed.

I figure that what I said must have unsettled their beliefs quite a bit to get that venomous a response fro them.

Love and blessings Don

common and stupid.

i posted an answer that someone didn't like, and they looked through all of my questions that i had posed and reported the ones that he didn't agree with. they weren't offensive questions or rude, they just were about paganism and he wasn't pagan.
