And don't just recite something back. Say something real and from your heart. We all say recite stuff we were taught as kids.

For those who say they are EX-Christians or former Christians, I wonder if by the definition found in the Bible you were ever a Christian?

I say this because repeating a prayer, getting baptized, giving your tithes and going to Church regularly does not necessarily make you a Christian, let alone being saved. In fact some of you have never been back to Church since you got "saved" and you think you were a Christian and have experienced Christianity

My question is what makes you think you were a Christian to begin with?

To get these supposed 'feelings' that there's a god?Have you ever heard a noise in a dark alley or your home & you get that feeling that someone is there? You don't even want to but you can even make out a shape of a human when in fact there is no one there at all? You turn the light on and you realise that you were being delusional-amazing thing the human mind isn't it? Christians, considering the undeniable traits of the human mind won't you admit that you are suffering from the same thing constantly?OK it is postive delusional-but it is delusion. Like when you're in love with a beautiful woman and the feeling seems to be with you all day?I can show you photos of her though?Where's your evidence? The evidence for non-existence coupled with man's desire for power through the ages and the human mind's ability to delude only point to one thing at the moment-not believing? When will you admit this?

I am a born again Christian. I'm living my life now to please GOD. My sister asked me for advice, she's still living in sin. She has 3 children (twins, and a little girl) She's now pregnant again. She said she want to have an abortion. Considering her situation, that will be best. Her situation is she already have 3 kids a dead end job, and have no transportation at all. But with my new beliefs, I can't tell her to have an abortion. It's sin either way, she's pregnant by a guy that's not her husband, so she's fornicating, (that's a sin) then she wants an abortion, (that's a sin) So, I don't know what kind of advice to give her. Please Help!!!!

WHY do you that consider yourself a religious and say to love everyone because you're trying to follow Jesus' example and say that racism and discrimination is ignorant keep saying nasty things about the LDS church and its members? don't you think that this is discrimination? I have learned in my church that making wars with other religions not right because anyways we are all brothers and sisters so we don't do that, I have never heard a Mormon say to a person from other religion things like what people from other religions say to Mormons. People keep talking about racism in the church, poligamy, Josep Smith was a false prophet, etc... why don't they get better informed and stop criticizing so hard other people's beliefs and then they want their beliefs to be respected. I have read terrible things about my church and what some people say about it, but when that happens, as i know it is not true, my faith grows more because I know that I'm in the right place and my beliefs are right.

I very rarely am happy about the death of a fellow human being. But I must say that I will lose no sleep over the death of this hateful, intolerant, delusional wacko. He is no Christian, his heart was as black as Satan's lair, and can burn in hell for all I care. The fact that he had the NERVE to use God to justify his hate is an abomination.

Do you really believe that Jerry Falwell was a hateful bigot (As I believe) and If so, why?

Besides banning gay marriage, which is presumably a given, how do you feel that homosexuals should be regarded and treated in society? Are there any changes in laws and attitudes or actions that you would recommend as appropriate? Please do not infer my own opinions on gay issues from this question, which I hope will draw serious thoughtful answers.

Me first. This soft-brained bigot did more to divide Americans than anyone in the 20th century. Encouraging hatred and attracting pandering politicians he wrecked Americans' image of themselves. He preached discord and demagoguery and intoduced theocracy to the US.

Revealed Truth from God? Why then do the descriptions of the discovery of Jesus' empty tomb, as provided in the four gospels, disagree? Each of the four gospels describes the event differently, with a different cast of characters in each one. If God is making sure the writers get it right, why then do they disagree?

Eye witness accounts? Who witnessed the temptation of Jesus in the desert, when Satan offered him the world? Are we to believe Jesus later re-told the story, bragging about how he resisted Satan?

Who witnessed the prayers in Gethsemane? According to the account, the disciples were sleeping while Jesus prayed to God. Are we to believe Jesus whined to the disciples about how he prayed to God to be delivered and was refused?

So which is it: God-inspired truth (in which case God couldn't tell the story of the empty tomb the same way twice) or eye-witness (in which case whomever wrote the stories of the Temptation and Gethsemane invented these stories)?

The Jews were NEVER called terrorist and look what the Christians did to them in the Holocaust.

The Old Testament is full of verses of violence and orders to go to war and the GOD of the OT is the GOD of the Quran.

If the Christians call us Muslims terrorists then I am pleased to see we are not going to end up like the "peaceful" Jews in Germany.

OK, perhaps a rather humorous charachter, but the question is this:

A man (or woman) living in isolation who has never been exposed to the possibility of religion in any shape or form will have no concept of the afterlife, good or evil. Since we are all born with sin, does this mean Tarzan would be going to hell? Or would god let it slide on the basis that he's led a life with no influenece other than his own instincts which, by proxy, means he whould have lived exactly as god intended without any outside influence from the church?

This isn't meant as a dig, or a challenge, just to be thought provoking for a wednesday afternoon!
