Yes. And not because it makes me feel good. I do it because it is the right thing to do.

Yes, everyday. As a Christian man I hold the door open for my wife and other courtesies that men should do for women, I hug her and kiss her for just being her.
I pick up trash in front of my neighbors houses while walking my dog-it usually isn't their trash but has blown in from somewhere else.
I almost always hold doors for strangers while out shopping and going to restaurants, etc.
Just saying 'hello' or 'good morning' to strangers regardless if they respond back is also a nice act of kindness for you never know if that person lives a lonely life or not.
It feels good to do random acts of kindness and I know I appreciate it if someone acts kind toward me.
Just do it regardless of what others might think; it would be great if kindness became contagious across America because we sure need it in these days.

I have three mantras.
Perfection does not exist.
I love the things that give me what I want,
Do no harm.
Why practice random acts of kindness when It's
much simpler to be kind as a general behavior.
Cooperation really works.

For the past six years I have had a name for what I have done most of my life. A former landlord had a poster on her front door explaining Random Acts of Kindness.

I can't say I practice then on a regualr basis. But every now and again when I see a homeless man or someone who looks in need, I will give then a few dollars. Or I will just start up a conversation with them just to make them feel like they are not invisible.

I don't.
All the kindness I show others is a result of who I am, and there isn't anything random about that.
A random act of kindness is a spontaneous, spur-of-the-moment decision, not something you would expect of the individual in question.
Kindness as a manifestation of what is in the heart is something anyone who knows you would expect of you. It isn't random.

Yes and all the time. The ironic part?!?! It usually goes unnoticed and ignored. You would think I would give up, but it feels like the right thing to do so I press on. When I hold doors open for people, or let them in front of me, or such things, they act as though it is my job, that I am here to serve them.

Unfortunately, I'm currently living in an area where anything like that is considered more than strange.
So I have to take the opportunities when I find them. Oh well, Judaism teaches that anonymity is the best way of giving.

Yes, but only because I believe people respond better to kindness. Hmmm, no make that more continually acting kind. Being obnoxious or rude doesn't make anyone feel good.

Yes, everyday if I can, and I have good morals and am a devoted parent, and belive in the virtues of a community spirit and family values..
Oh, and I think religion is for the weaker minded among us..!!
You see, religion, especially christianity does NOT have a monopoly on morals..!! It's a farce..
