if we say god is one we pray to one god .why do we have so many church?

i go to church i pray but what i dont understand.why we have so many churchand bibles.what is the diferent if god is one and the same.also why god is white and satan is black .but satan was god angel.what made him to change the colour.

That's what Satan does, he takes truth and bends it to his liking... there is only ONE LORD, ONE FAITH and ONE BAPTISM.

All versions of the bible today have been changed overtime by evil men... the truth was lost and a great apostasy occurred...

But the gospel has been RESTORED! through a modern day prophet, called of God. Joseph Smith and there is a prophet on earth today! The Book of Mormon is Another Testament of Jesus Christ and has restored the plain and precious things taken out of the Bible!

Read James 1:5-6 and read the Book of Mormon! It is the Word of God! Pray and ask God if it is his word!

In 11 Corinthians 11:13-15 Here we see in stark clarity that it has been in God's plan from the beginning to allow all the distortion of Scripture that we now see in the churches:

In 11 Timothy 2:15 God has told us "to Study (the Bible) to show thyself approved unto God..." He has warned those who want to get it right to "...believe not every spirit, but try (test against the Word) the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world."

We have Bible preachers who are actually Satan's ministers and not God's! IICorinthians 11:15

Now not all preachers teaching false doctrine are Satan's ministers - some are just following the teaching of men ignorantly. They are even convinced that they are teaching Bible truth. Only when you show them what the Bible says will they consider changing. If they do, they are God's preachers.
This is why God's inspired Bible must be the final arbiter of what is True and what is False. This is why we study to show ourselves approved of God and test the spirits against the Word of God to see whether what we are hearing confirms the Word or contradicts it.

We don't know the colors of God or Satan. The Bible doesn't tell us. We assume Christ was sun tanned with olive skin similar to other Middle Eastern people. Satan was Lucifer the Light bearer so he seems to present himself as a light and light isn't black. Even though there is darkness all around him even Satan can present himself as light. He is a deceiver that can even put ministers of his in pulpits preaching Christ and righteousness. 11 Corinthians 11:13-15

Different interpretations and opinions of men.

What made the satan change? I am told it was pride that lead to his downfall. I am not so sure that it was his color that changed, though maybe in a figurative sense. But I believe he is really just a myth and a symbol, though I know many will not agree with me.

Why so many Bibles? Well, it has been retranslated and paraphrased and edited a lot down through time. Plus the holy books of other religions are sometimes called Bibles.

Would not say that God is all white, except in a figurative sense.

You make a very good point. It makes perfect sense that if there is one God, that He should have one Truth, and one Church. If two churches teach two different things, they can't both be right. I don't believe that one church can say "God wants it this way" and then another church says "God wants it this other way" and both have it right. God can't be divided like that. He can only have one way. Differences between churches are obviously created by humans. You need to find the church that represents the one and only truth of God.

I think the image of God being white and Satan being black is due to our cultural associations of white being good and black being dark and evil. I don't think that you could say that Satan is really black, referring to skin color (if that's what you meant). You are right to say that Satan was an angel of God. He changed from good to evil (white to black, as you put it), because of his own pride and greed. He challenged God, wanting to supplant God's plans and take God's glory. He thought he knew more than God and when God rejected his plan, Lucifer rebelled. For his rebellion, he was cast out of Heaven and became the Devil.

The reason we have so many churches is very complicated. It could be said that it is because of the diversity of different cultures and circumstances that have and do exist in the world. I have also heard it said that none of the religions of the world have it completely correct but most of them have it partially right. Most do worship the same supreme being. God.
The black and white distinction; white is considered pure and thus is assigned to god. Evil is the opposite and therefore assigned to the opposite or evil.

Wow. Many people of various faiths say there is one God. Some people say there is no God. But look at it like this. Say, for example a pagan is praying to the god of war before battle and a Christian is praying to their God, there exists 2 gods between their two minds. The answer known only by the true God.

this is what I think. everyone is on their own faith walk. and there are all these different religions out there because everyone is at a different place in there own personal faith walk. what works for one person in one religion might not work for another in another religion.

as for the bibles. that goes back to history and translastions and who translated what and how you translate this word and whether or not you had a greek translation or a hebrew translation.

and for you god is white and satan is black... well i am just not sure what in the world you are talking about there......

The day Christ comes again we will all know what is true and not true. Until then be repectful others religious beliefs for that is what a true Christian would do. That does not mean you have to agree just be respectful to them.
