Too bad he didn't take the whole Moron Majority with him.

Unfornunately I've met some hateful Christians. Jerry Falwell was the leader of that spiteful group.
It's just proof that all things good or evil die eventually.

Jerry Falwell, the mouth that roared is dead! If you can't say anything nice about a person don't say anything at all. AMEN!

He made Liberals into Satan-inspired enemies of all that is good. I can't be expected to take kindly to that.
I will not be a phony. I'm glad he's dead. Next will be D. James Kennedy. I am a prophet!

Jerry Falwell was not a biggot! He was a man of God who spoke the word of God. If you have a problem with what he said in his sermons then you have a problem with God because it was his word that he spoke. I believe he is now relieved of being on this god forsaken earth filled with sin. He is in heaven rejoicing with the angels and a God who will tell him "Well done my good an faithful servent, enter in"

I only heard about him for the first time today because he died. But from what I saw...yes I agree he is a hateful bigot. Why? Do you really need to ask?

Can't say I'll miss him that's for sure.
Yes he was an awful human being. How anyone can justify hating other human beings in the name of ANY god is beyond me. Unfortunatly a lot of people believe him and follow him more then they know.

Me too! I posted a similar question and got torn apart for it, I'm glad about his death in the same way I'm glad about Hitler's, he was a horrible little bigot and I hope he's rotting in hell. Any Christians who defend him are hypocrites, it is much MUCH worse to defend such a vile human being than to be glad of his death.

No he wasn't. He was a saved man - saved by the Lord Jesus Christ - not perfect, not above anyone else - just saved pure and simple. How sad of you to write this and start this - you should be ashamed. God help you. I will pray for you and your soul.
