And don't just recite something back. Say something real and from your heart. We all say recite stuff we were taught as kids.

We find peace in God and Jesus the Prince of Peace especially in the Holy Eucharist. The Pope works for peace. All Catholics and Christians and people of good will do. Without God there is no peace so the best way to find peace is to look for it in God the Source of all good things.

I found peace in a time when I was so desperate to change... I was headed for destruction in my life. I came to a place where I felt that only God or a supernatural power could save me. I prayed one night, but different than I had ever prayed before. I prayed... faced down to the floor and in full humility and really cried out to God to be saved... I said "If you are God... then I believe that you can help me... please give me peace and change me" I begin to see God in a new light from that day on and Ive been changed every since. I have peace that I have never known and I tell you the truth, it came instantly... because at this time I had made up in my mind that I was serious about living for God! The most real peace comes with relationship with Jesus Christ.

I am peaceful because I know that whatever happens in life, there is nothing I can do to stop it so I just have to accept it. Unless it is of my own doing, then I can take steps to change it. I also believe there is always hope and I am optimistic about things. Adversity is an opportunity to grow and change for the better. If we lose everything, there is a perfect chance to start over and recreate our life.

I've found peace, but I didn't find it until I took my hat OUT of the religious arena....I do what I know is right because I know it's the right thing to do, and I help people when I can. I don't give money to someone who only works 1 day a week, lol....I don't waste time talking to myself every night, and my preferred reading involves elves and magic and swords, lol....but I'm a happy man, truly at peace with myself.

I found peace by realising that what I percieved as my failings and my guilt actually belonged to others. Not all of it but a lot!
I then looked at myself, what I believed and didn't... not just religious beiliefs but in everything. I researched, I talked with others, I unloaded baggage from years ago. Then with what was left I looked again and found that I actually quite like me! I may rub others up the wrong way with my outlook, and opinions, but they are mine I own them and I am big enough to say that they may not be right in the eyes of others. I also understand that others still carry guilt and baggage and that their beliefs may be different to mine. Thats cool their opinion is exactly that, theirs. I have no problem with that in fact I may even learn by their insights.!
Life is an education and the lessons mould us into who we are. I am at peace with myself, I wish you the same!

Blessings :)

Peace is a place within our own spirit. Meditate on the spirit and create a peace centre. Then when the winds of adversity blow (as they will) in your outer experiences, you can always seek this centre again and again.

By finding out who I really am. Peace is not something external...something to be found or sought after. It is within...I am peace.

I've found contentment, is that the same thing? I'm content with my place in life, with my relationship with the Divine, with my husband and my dog, with my family. I'm content with the opportunities that are ahead of me, because I know it's my choice to pursue them if I desire. I'm content with the presence of the God and Goddess in my life, and with my current understanding of Them, and I look forward to deepening that understanding and contentment for the rest of my life.

I have found peace in my life through my faith, through my family, through my friends, through loving others, and through forgiveness.
