To those who ask the question of Christians..."what if you are wrong". I say even if we are wrong we are still the better off. How could it hurt believing that we should (1). treat others as we would like to be treated. (2). to honor our parents (3). to not give our bodies away (outside of marriage) taking chances of getting every disease imagineable. (4). for husbands to believe that they are supposed to love and cherish their wives. (5) for wives to believe that they are supposed to respect and love their husbands. (6) to believe that you should not keep the cycle of violence going by getting revenge on someone who has wronged us. (7). to have a hope that what we see in this messed up world is not all there is left in life. (8) to believe that we should forgive an offense against us (9) to believe that we should give to the poor and needy (10) and to believe that a creator greater than ourselves loves us and desires all good things for us? If we are wrong SO WHAT???

should you be even allowed to comment on the matter ?

have you ever had to do something that goes against everything you stand for because it seems the only thing left to do in your situation ?
have you ever been raped and carried a reminder of that rape each day ?
have you ever have to live with a reminder of something that hurts every time you think of it ?
have you ever had to make the most difficult decision of your life with support and understanding from anyone around you ?

people assume that abortion is as easy as taking the pill , and yes for " some " it may be
but for the majority of people , I am sure this is the most heart breaking decision they have ever had to make in their life

I am so tired of self righteous people telling others what they can and can do with their body
and until you have walked in their shoes ...... should you even be commenting ?

If I allow you to decide what to do with my body, will you let me decide what to do with your body? Fair is fair.

I'm well aware that religious people are likely to be quite offended by blasphemous swearing (cursing, if you're American), and I try to avoid it. However, a lot of people seem to avoid saying even the f-word (or the like) in front of religious people. Are religious people more offended than the irreligious by all forms of swearing, or is this just an assumption on the part of us heathens?

I say yes she should, and then she would know that it is a human life inside of her and not just some easily disposable mass. The only reason pro-murder, I mean pro-abortion people do not want this is, they know the number of woman going through with it will drastically fall.

Before saying this is not true, consider the fact that I have had enough discussions over the years to have probably already heard whatever witty or clever argument you may think you can present. Each argument has ended the exact same way: "God does exist, but does not make sense logically, and that is ok because he is the Almighty God, and his logic is above and beyond human understanding.. Therefore, one must have faith."

I believe that an all powerful god would be able to support his existence without the need for logical fallacies. In addition, I believe that the group of people who believe in and claim to follow this god should at least include some kind of large percentage who do so due to logic and reason rather than logical fallacies and faith alone.

"The Prophet Mohammed, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said:'The Prophets are like brothers; they have different mothers but their life transaction is one. I am the closest of all the people to Jesus son of Mary, because there is no other Prophet between him and myself. He will come again, and when you see him, you will recognize him. He is of medium height and his colouring is reddish-white. He will be wearing two garments, and his hair will look wet. He will break the cross, kill the pigs, abolish the jizya and call the people to Islam. During his time, Allah will end every religion and sect other than Islam, and will destroy the Dajjal. Then peace and security will prevail on earth, so that lions will graze with camels, tigers with cattle, and wolves with sheep; children will be able to play with snakes without coming to any harm. Jesus will remain for forty years, then die, and the Muslims will pray for him.' (It was related by Ibn Hanbal)."

It would have taken all of 30 seconds for the omniscient creator of the universe to point this out. . .think of all the suffering he could have saved his beloved human beings if he'd just pointed that out. . .or maybe discussed irrigation or something. . .my guess would be that he never discussed these things because he was as ignorant as all the other people back then. . .

If there is no God, then where would any sense of right or wrong come from? It seems that an Atheist claiming that anything is either right or wrong contradicts himself and proves that their is some sort of higher standard.
