I don't think he exists. As people wanted conformation for the how everything is happening around them so they created the gods, but now it's just all the gods b4 combined in 1 (but they r still fictional) and if u read a story like robinson crusoe, u'll see the importance of prayers to help the sick one or the one in trouble to theink better (positively), as he would have nothing else to support him, so we use prayers to think that there might be hope and deliverance after every problem we have.

Your prayers have to be in harmony with God's will for him to answer them. He's not going to answer prayers for money or or material things.
Find out what the will of God is and do it.
Pray to the one true God and then he will answer your prayers.
But he still won't give you money. Sorry.

He always answer prayers, Im not sure what your praying for but maybe what you think is the best answer for you is not. He can see things we can not, keep the faith, you will see the answer when you look back upon whatever situation you are praying for.

God always answers prayers. It may not be the answer you want or maybe you can't hear the Lord. We have many things in our hearts and minds that can distract us from hearing what God is saying. I advice you to go somewhere that is away from all your distractions and that is peaceful and clear your mind. Ask the Lord to reveal in your heart what He is saying. Pray in peace and God Bless!

He does, but sometimes the answer is "no" like stated above in these other answers. Do not get discouraged. I've honestly never had a prayer un-answered.

Because there doesn't seem to be a "God"

However if you keep praying you will probably answer your own prayers some day.

Sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayers
Remember when you’re talkin’ to the Man upstairs
That just because He doesn’t answer doesn’t mean He don’t care
Some of God’s greatest gifts are unanswered prayers.
