God bless you!

I was a Protestant minister for 25 years before becoming a priest. The advice you have gotten so far is correct in that you should go to your local Parrish priest and tell him of your calling and ask his advice. I would advise, in addition to reading Scriptures that you read the Catechism of the Catholic Church available on line and the works of the Ante-Nicene fathers starting with the seven epistles of St. Ignatius.

You can also access the Catholic Encyclopedia on line that has a wealth of information on all things Catholic. May the Lord be with you.

My pastor is a an adult convert to Catholicism.

To start your journey or even see if you truly have a calling, you need to explore becoming a Catholic.

If you are interested in joining or just learning more about the Catholic Church, contact your local parish and ask about information about their RCIA Inquiry group.

You can go and ask any questions you want.

This is the first step in RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) but you can stop at any time.

There is no obligation to become a Catholic (or a priest).

With love and prayers in Christ.

Just as a reminder, pedophiles can be observed in any institution, however now not all companies have a centuries-lengthy culture of shielding their pedophiles. I'm lovely definite the premiums are approximately the identical. However, the premiums of pedophile clergymen being blanketed by means of Church management may be very top. Until just lately, it used to be one hundred% of pedophile clergymen who had been being blanketed. As proof, we've all the proceedings right here within the United States. We even have the pope eventually making pedophilia grounds for excommunication. Also, there are definitely 0 instances of pedophile clergymen stated in Latin American international locations. Either there are 0 pedophile clergymen, or they're being blanketed one hundred%. Which do you actually consider is correct?

In answer to your first question: probably not. However, I'm sure there is much material available on the Internet or maybe even at your local library. Of course, the most obvious answer would be to visit a Catholic church. I'm sure you would have to be a faithful Catholic before you are able to become a worker in the church.

First become a catholic, then think about becoming a priest. Go to your nearest Catholic church and talk to the Pariah Priest, he will advise you.

First, you must believe in fiction. Second, you must be willing to cover-up for pedophiles.
