i am not a christian, so maybe i am missing something. The reason humans act badly is because of sin, which was brought into the world because of the Fall in the Garden. So far, so good. But then when God uses the Flood to wipe out the evil he sees, he keeps Noah and his family around. Why? If Noah had sin, then it was stupid on God's part. God could have just killed everyone and made new people (and animals, like he does in Creation)or some other lifeform, or ended it all. But he saved Noah, with the knowledge (even encouragement) that all future humans would be related to him.

So, if Noah and his family were sinless, how did it get back into the world without it being another big story in the Bible?

And if they had sin, what the hell was God doing killing everyone else in an attempt to eliminate sin?

i hope this makes sense, as i would hate to get a bunch of dumb answers.

- The dude that wrote "The Case for Christ"

Of course, looking for evidence is good, but as a Christian you are not supposed to need it. Doesn't it show a lack of faith to look for it?

To believe there is no God? The athesist must believe that he omniscient, or all-knowing. Out of all the knowledge contained in the entire universe (I mean everything from from the stone age tribes in the jungles, to the most educated person at the worlds top unverseity) the average human being knows only a small fraction of all of this knowledge. How then, can athesist reason that there is no God when they do not have all the knowledge in the unverse? Is it possible that there is a god out there somewhere that has not yet entered the athesists' perspective realm of intellect? The athesist must also believe that he is omnipresent, or everywhere present. Out of all the space in the universe, how much space can you occupy at one time? Not even enough to see if you were to view the universe as a whole. how then, can the athesisr reason that there is no God when they can not be everywhere at the same time? Is it then possible for a god to be out there somewhere that athesis has never been?

isn't the analogy of a watchmaker proof that nature is without any particular order? consider the story for a moment. the story often starts out that you're walking either through the forest or on the beach or some other natural location. when out of nowhere you spot a watch on the ground. therefore creationists theorize that the watch must have a designer. and thus it's safe to assume that some intelligent form of life created the watch. this is what puzzles me. why is the analogy always of finding a watch in the wild? why not finding a watch in a watch store?

“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”

As in, a lot of things in the Bible are symbolism, and God made man THROUGH evolution? For example, the Adam and Eve story is symbolism for larger events that our tiny brains can't comprehend...

1. God LOVES you and offers a wonderful PLAN for your life.

"God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" John 3:16.

Why is it that people are not experiencing the abundant life?

2. Man is SINFUL and SEPARATED from God. Therefore, he cannot know and experience God's love and plan for his life.

Man Is Sinful
"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23.

3. Jesus Christ is God's ONLY provision for man's sin. Through Him you can know and experience God's love and plan for your life.

"God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" Romans 5:8.

4. We must individually RECEIVE Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives.

"As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name" John 1:12

I read so many comments and people will mock Christ, because of what the pope does or what a televangelist does... these people are not Christ... they are just people, who are imperfect and sin just like the rest of us. If you have a problem with the way they are, fine, you dont have to like them. But Christ deserves more respect than that.

I know that many of you will say "how can you respect something/ someone who is not real." Ok, that's your opinion, but that you dont know for fact... so let's just say that he is real... will you continue to say the mean and hateful things you say in regard to him? Who could 'possibly' be the one who layed down his life for you.

If so, I guess you're just hateful people, whom are lost causes!

So does the Catholic Church have a society for women too? And what is it call. I heard the name sacred sisters. Any input would help me.

Then why would God sanctify marriage? Why get married at all? Why have children? If they are not going to be a part of us when we get to heaven, what good is heaven? Why would God want us to have happy families, only to take that away from us in the place we are to be the most supremely happy?

Can non-Mormon Christians answer that?
