Christianity declines day to day... Not only the quantity (number of people attending the church) but also the quality (they now got a homosexual episcopal bishop, a nazi pope, etc) of the follower.

Is it possible that christianity will perish someday?

If you say it is possible, why, and tell me when it will be (from statistical regression / estimation).

Before I became a christian I had 2 abortions, one because I was forced and taken down to the hospital by the department of human services and at the time I was raising a gergous little girl called Sarah. The DOHS said I could not cope with another one with Sarah and took me down against my will. The second one I was told to get rid of the baby by its so called father. And my mother who is agisnt abotions was all for me having it too and told me to get it done, and so were my old friends at the time, as I were under pressure. I know God has forgiven me, as it has been taken to him. But people have you been labled a murderer by anybody? IF you have did you stick up for yourself?

Because reading some of the answers I get the idea that some people think ALL disease, illness, death, stubbing your big toe, and who knows what else is all down to Original Sin. In short, any and all human suffering and misery is down to that one transgression.

Now, two questions for those people:
a) does that seem fair and balanced to you, as a punishment?
b) wasn't death a part of life already, as God kicked them out lest they also eat from the tree of life (implying that was also not in his plan)?

I watched Panaorama last night and found the Scientology people to be a complete bunch of looney bins. I thought it was funny but to see the BBC reporter flipping the lid and shouting his head off? Did anyone else watch the programme and what do they think of Scientology?

i have a question for christians, do you believe god will heal a
schizophrenic, bipolar,borderline personality disordered person simply and only by following jesus, and or god. or do you believe those mental disorders need medication also.

also if you believe god will heal them of their mental disorder without medication. do you also believe someone with cancer,M.S,diabetes, shouldnt take medication because god will heal them too.

mental health issues are proven to be a chemical disorder that should be treated by medication.

i'm not talking about mild depression because your sad because someone broke up with you or because you dont love yourself. or life isnt going your way. i'm talking about the above mental problems.

Afterall, who remembers how he was before coming into this world? Would leaving it, be any different?
If souls are immortal like the Bible claims, that means they don't just form at birth, right? They were always present. But I don't remember anything about my soul before birth. If I can't feel my soul before birth? Why would I feel it after death?

Any kind of compassion is under this question but I will example ;
Babies, kids are surrendered by compassion of their mothers ,relatives even strangers . Everyone feels mercy & compassion for them.
If everything happened by coincidences, natural causes , then HOW was this put in our hearts ???
Is it possible this was put by causes ,,which are pretty far away from intelligence, compassion & mercy ???
( some may answer " intincts" but WHO is stimulating instincts? )

I went to an assemblies of God church for a few months. Now there's a group of lunatics.
They also love to "speak in tongues". That means they become 'possesed' with the Lord and speak in tongues.
The little old ladies fling themselves on the floor and you can see up their skirt, so they have special little 'shawls' for them when they are having convulsions due to 'possesion' from the Lord.

What's up with them shaking and rolling around on the floor with convulstions or becoming 'possesed' with the Lord?

The other day some guy from the church broke a chair in a "fit of joy" and it was perfectly OK.

Are they all on drugs? o_o
