If I allow you to decide what to do with my body, will you let me decide what to do with your body? Fair is fair.

Abortion is murder? I love how the so-called pro-lifers throw that line around. If they're so pro-life, why don't they adopt some kids ? Or foster parent some? Or ENSURE the ones that are already born are loved, fed, medically cared for, educated through college level...The so-called pro-lifers are so good at telling women what to do about this very private matter. It would be better if they just kept their noses out of other people's business and instead cracked open their wallets and purses and made the lives of all the unwanted and unloved babies we already got better....what a bunch of hypocrites....

and for the nitwits that use the term PRO-Abortion..no sweet cheeks, it's PRO-Choice...there is a difference if you can think about it....

The issue is very simple - if you do not want to get pregnant use birth control. If you want the freedom of choice then make that choice before you have sex and not after. Abortion is an outcome of the lack of planning. Let us look at a scenario; Scenario 1 A pregnant lady gets into an car accident and ends up in the hospital - the hospital will do everything possible to save the life of the mother AND the life of the child. If the child dies it will be viewed as a tragedy. Scenario 2 The same pregnant lady goes into a hospital and get an abortion - the life is killed and discarded. What is the difference. if the baby in scenario 1 is not a life then it could simply be discarded. it is not because it is a life and if it is a life in scenario 1 then it is also a life in scenario 2. You cannot have it both ways.

This is the reason why I would be pro-life even if I wasn't a Christian: for many who get abortions (certainly not all), I think its unfair that this living being will never get a chance at life simply because the mother is selfish.

Like I said, that doesn't apply in all cases (health of the mother and perhaps other cases), but it does for many.

And as for the cold argument that the fetus isn't technically an independent being up to a certain number of months - I still believe you're taking away the probability of life. That fetus will likely be born and grow up and live a life, unless one proactively cuts it off.

The ONLY time that I see it even being appropriate for a woman to get an abortion..

A. The child has severe disabilities/health problems that it wouldn't be able to 'survive' outside the womb on its own since it recieves nourishment and oxygen through the umbilical cord.

B. Rape victims...they were traumatized enough by the rape so I can't blame them for not wanting to carry a child to full-term that was a product caused by the rape.

C. Women whom are diagnosed with a Life threatening condition where it would be considered 'unsafe' for both the mother and unborn child to endure a full-term pregnancy.

But otherwise I would like to see mature-minded women choosing the option of adoption if they are unable to care for the child due to financial reasons...there are so many women or couples out there that would be willing to adopt a child if given the chance to!!

Have you ever thought of it this way- if the woman's body was the one being effected I could totally understand your question- but how about this- ask the "fetus" this same question- there are 2 bodies and lives involved here- one lives the other does not. A woman can stand on her but that poor baby has no choice- like I just wrote in another post- What would that baby say?

You can do what ever you want to your body, but your child isn't part of your body, we are protecting your child, because children should get the same chance you have had to live. I hate it when people make pro-choice sound like women's rights. Pro-choice has nothing to do with a woman's right, it has to do with taking away innocent life.

I can't tell you not to have an abortion. Sadly it is still legal. It is something I would never have done!
I am sorry but I believe in taking birth control and abortion is not birth control. Just don't get pregnant in the first place. If you have ever seen a sonogram, you know that there is a baby in there and that is not your body! It is a tiny body that is inside the woman's body that the woman does not want there. To remove that tiny body it must be killed. It is not the woman's body being killed! She go's on to live her child didn't have that choice!

The thing is, one doesn't HAVE to become pregnant, and once one is, it ISN'T just YOUR body. Poor decisions, habits, and/or self control, often end up in pregnancy (not the only reasons of course) but these are poor reasons to end up murdering. All that was needed was acting different.

I will allow you to do whatever you want to your body parts, given the the DNA of the "body part" is identical to the DNA taken via a cheek swab.

Fair is fair,...

If YOU are the FETUS, would you allow yourself to be aborted?

If YOU are the FETUS, wouldn't you think it unfair that IRRESPONSIBLE people who of a moment of fun, considered you a MISTAKE?

If YOU are the FETUS, woud you think it FAIR that you're only given the chance to form a few thousand LIVING cells in the womb and not allowed to experience life outside?

Tell us, what is FAIR in your vocabulary?

If YOU are NOT "pro-life" then are you "AGAINST LIFE"? If so, are you PRO-DEATH?

Life is life! You say, it's a choice, but then again, it is still LIFE,... It's your choice to KILL or NOT TO KILL.
