like if you go to some country that is ok to have more than one wife. would you have more than one wife?

they probably have one wife because they finally wised up to the insanity of living with more than one woman, having all those mom in laws and going broke with all those divorces.

I am LDS, and I would not marry another wife regardless of U.S. law. I believe that nearly every active member would feel the same, because practice of the Mormon faith has precluded polygamy for well over 100 years. No current, active member of the Church has ever been close to polygamy to desire it, let alone appreciate all of its ramifications.
However, the most compelling reason of all for me *not* to marry another wife is that it would impact my standing with the Church and with Jesus Christ. Regardless of which country I lived in, I would be ex-communicated.

There are more Mormons outside the US then within... and no member is allowed to have more than one wife... regardless of any countries laws accepting it.

well at least Mormons don't brake the law, I think Muslims who come to this country with two wives to live, get away with it. I am still confused tho. Joseph Smith had to have many wives, and so did Brigham Young, but then the rest of thr mormons do not.

Just to let you know back in 1904 the church of Jesus Christ of Laterday Saints stopped practicing polygamy.

No, even in countries where polgamy is legal, we do not practice it. I've heard that polygamists in other countries who want to join our church are told they must give up all but one wife.

We have one wife because our church said we have one.
even in countries that allow more than one wife, we still go with what our church say.

The Church of LDS does not promote the practice of polygamy anymore, sorry but your view on Mormons is skewed. They USED to say it was okay, but their church laws change every generation as things become less socially acceptable, for example, not letting blacks into the church. Seriously.
