I say yes she should, and then she would know that it is a human life inside of her and not just some easily disposable mass. The only reason pro-murder, I mean pro-abortion people do not want this is, they know the number of woman going through with it will drastically fall.

Yes, I think she should see the baby.
And for those that go through with an abortion need to have required psychological counseling about a year after to make sure they get the help they need dealing with it.
And we (the church) should make pregnant women feel loved whether or not they keep their babies and if they want to let their children be adopted, help them find places like Shaoshanna’s Hope (web site below) started by Steven Curtis Chapman. Which also helps people who want to adopt but can’t afford it.

I understand your point of view on this issue we are both on the same page. What i wonder is whether or not it would really make a difference. That would make an interesting study.

This second piece doesn't speak to your question exactly but I feel compelled to say it. When 2 people make a mistake and a life is created that isn't wanted, it is still a life. It is not the baby's fault that it exists. Why would somebody destroy a precious life because of their own actions? In the case of rape it is a little trickier situation but my stand is still the same. Even that baby has every right to live as it's parents. Babies are a very special and wonderful gift from God not to be just tossed out and thrown away. I tried to have a second child. I wanted another baby more than anything, I still do but its not working out for me and soon I'll be too old. There are so many options available to young women who are pregnant and don't want there baby. Women can leave their babies at the hospital, firehouse, churches, police stations, etc.... and you won't get in trouble so why abortion? Please don't kill your babies. There are so many people out there who want very badly to have what you are throwing away. I know, I'm one of them.

No, this is a slippery slope of where will it end. Next will she be subjected to listen to other peoples views on why she shouldn't have an abortion. Will she have to go in front of a so called moral panel and explain why she needs an abortion. I don't believe it is right to have an abortion, but I remember when it was illegal to have an abortion and abortions were done in back street butcher shops by people who didn't know what they were doing, and young girls died, because of this abortions became legal under certain circumstances. I don't think a woman who wants an abortion should HAVE to see anything or be preached to by anyone. All they should be told is if they choose to have the baby and give it up for adoption instead of aborting it, they ,will be given all the support they need including all costs involved in having the baby. That's it, after that it is their decision.

"in between the few study of the subject — there have been none interior the US — 2 abortion clinics in British Columbia got here upon that seventy 3 % of sufferers needed to work out a picture if presented the prospect. 80-4 % of the 254 women persons who seen sonograms stated it did no longer make the adventure extra problematic, and none reversed her determination. When I had my abortion I was only 4 weeks pregnant. There wasn't much to see.

Men are so obsessed w/ controlling a woman's body. At least I can half respect pro-life women, but then again, they are often blindly lead by religion or dictation from a man anyway.

And thank you "I am a Demopublican" for making that excellent point.

Yes, and I'll take it one more step :

She should be educated about what that Baby really experiences, ( FEELS ), during the Abortion.

She should be given life size latex models of Babies at each Trimester, to show her just what she is murdering.

She should be shown the Photos of Murdered Babies from Abortion Mills.

Finely, if a Woman has two Abortions, she should be surgically Sterilized.
Be Blessed in Christ Jesus !

So what would an ultra sound at 4 weeks or 6 weeks show? Nothing definable as human. Almost completely non-visible. And the vast majority of abortions do take place in that time span. If you do not ever want an abortion then never have one but don't try playing the lame pro-murder BS. Your arguments have no case so you revert to the old church tested fear and guilt ploy. Sorry but a woman does have a legal and moral right to choose whatever option for herself.

It never ceases to amaze me that most abortion clinics do ultrasounds prior to an abortion. I know that to be fact because I know someone who told me this- they would not allow her to she her baby- she told me if they had she probably would not have aborted. Why do they hold back showing the woman the baby, if all it is a glob of tissue? Interesting question, huh?

Yes. Statistics prove that women who see an ultrasound of their fetuses have a lower abortion rate than women who don't. If a woman has an opportunity to see for herself that it's not just a bundle of cells she's carrying, but that it looks like a real baby, she can no longer deny the truth.

I also advocate mandatory advisement to women that their fetus will suffer pain during the procedure.
