1) Do you believe it? Y'all didn't believe it when they found Jesus's tomb recently.

2) Where are Herod's bones? They weren't there! Does that mean he rose from the ?

Why not? For centuries, Christians have been touting "the empty tomb" of Jesus, even though nobody knew where it was, nor whether or not it was actually empty. Seems to me there's more evidence for Herod rising from the than Jesus!

I am a life long Pagan. Love being the grand madness it is, I married a Christian. When we came back to the States she joined a Christian Church. The Church placed her in a Sunday School class with divorced people. Four months later she took our child and left.

When the the answers stop, I'll tell you what happened and the one closest will get the points.

Why do people generally blame God for the bad things that happen? Why is it that people expect God to fix their problems and when He doesn't they get angry? In any relationship, you must bring something to the table, with God this is you in your entirety with all the dings and scratches. He takes this "broken" you and beats out the dings and buffs out the scratches. So why do people expect to recieve gifts from God when they haven't envited Him into their hearts and lives?

Do those religious people really believe everything they read in their bible?
F`rinstance, we are threatened with burning in the fires of hell but what does it matter if we have no skin and bone or able to fear or feel pain?
It`s ridiculous.
Those stories are made up to scare people, the ignorant low-intelligent people, that is...

It is a very catchy mythos, and makes alot more sense then some of the things that people believe today. Also, do you think that it is possible that the Bible started out as an ancient fantasy story that caught on?

death? l. before the Great White Throne by Jesus Christ to either enter eternal life or oblivion? A second judgment occurs
to those saved by salvation - it is discerned when awards are granted based on works. (I guess that means we will have a
lowly place in heaven if we didn't act like a Christian on earth.)

There is only one God or Creator if you will. Jesus was in fact a man who died and no longer exists. I hate to burst bubble out there and if you insist on living in denial that is your choice. But don't insult God by saying Jesus is like God or a part of him this is just plain wrong people.

For God to create any life with sin is actually a sin unto him for creating imperfection. If God is all knowing and caring why did he create Satan knowing that he would revolt?

An answer to another question got me wondering. The other day, my grandma-in-law wanted to say grace at dinner. I didn't bow my head or say amen, but I didn't protest either.

How do you react when people want to say grace? Does it make a difference if they are relatives? Do you ever refuse?

God had Jesus crucified so God could give himself an excuse to forgive humanity its sins.

Jesus allowed himself to be crucified because he knew he was the Son of God and that God would raise him from the dead and take him to heaven where he would be praised for all of eternity.

So what, exactly, was sacrificed?

Jesus had no wife, no kids, no home or possessions, no money, no equals to call friends. He was only here to be crucified so God could give Himself an excuse to forgive humanity, which God could have done anytime He wished without Jesus being on a cross (after all, God can do anything He wants).

So what was Jesus losing that had any value whatsoever? Giving up his life to spend eternity with God would be like you giving up a quarter and getting a mansion in return.

Just because you value your life doesn't mean the Son of God thought being human was anything of value, and how often in his sermons did he say just that (Matthew 16:25)?

This must be the reason why all those priests and other good christians think it okay to toss aside vows of any kind...

"But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none." -- 1 Corinthians 7:29

According to the Bible, they have all been freed of their vows by God...isn't that sweet?

and bad deeds are the result of god or none at all. You say he gave man free will but when men do good you say they did it through god? Therefore if men do bad deeds they do it through god. OR none at all. Which way do you want it? As if it is 'none at all' it simply means men have always been good and bad regardless of an unproven god which is what I always believed anyway..
