I was disfellowshipped a few years ago after a fight with my former father in law(an elder) when he was interfering in my marriage ( now divorced on unscriptural grounds, my former wifes choice and not mine) with my wife.

I do regret the fight with him, i still love my three sons, all JWs and i still love my former wife, ( she may have been disfellowshipped now due to divorcing with no scriptural grounds, i don't know)

What would be needed to be reinstated ? I know attending meetings for 6 months to 2 years is a pre requisite, but what else?

What is your opinion of the argument made by many Christians that people with black skin are descendents of Cain, whom God supposedly cursed after he killed Abel by making his skin black. I find this argument to be ridiculous. However, if you think this is true, how could you as a person with black skin still want to be a Christian? If you think it is not true, then what is your opinion as to where people of different skin colors came from? Obviously, Adam and Eve had to be some color; white, black, brown…..

I was listening to BBN this morning to Wisdom for the Heart. The pastor was discussing how the world is in such a turmoil and that sin has overtaken everyone. He made a very interesting point about abortion. Did you know that it is illegal to harm in any way the egg of a Bald Eagle in the United States, but abortion is legal in many states? How do we justify protecting an animal but allowing the murder of unborn children? Jesus clearly stated in the Bible that one human soul is more important than any thing else in creation. Now, even if you are not a Christian you have to see the irony of this situation! Animals are more important than human life? Oh I pray for all those lost souls who believe this.

I've heard this before too. So tell me then why you don't think of Muslims that way? Muslims believe in Christ. We believe he will come again. We accept Christ. We just don't believe in his divinity. Christ does not mean divine. It means annointed one and there were many others that were annointed.

My other question, "Is it immoral to burn a Bible", while I'm sure some people would be offended by it, wasn't obscene, and was really inspired by a response to a different question that I had seen.

Jesus said to see/enter the Kingdom of God we must be born again. The first person is born of the mothers waterbag into this world, and the second person born of His Spirit, spiritual.

Do you agree that a person isn't a Christian unless person is born of God spiritually?

The first person is body/soul & spiritually blind/dead, and the born of the spirit person is whole; body, soul & spirit?

So many moms want to still be spiritual but find it so hard to do. What are some ways that you have found time to connect with God; something that is more than just going to Mass or other services.

How do you do it with little children, or school age children when there is so many other things you have do: car pool, help with homework, work, make meals?

Matthew 15:4 Jesus tells the Pharisees that "For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother must be put to death."
