Two reasons why it will never happen: first, you cannot control how people answer questions. Second, when you ask religious based questions you are playing with a match while swimming in a pool of gasoline. It is nice to see the opinions of others that do not reflect my own opinions. Its a free for all, don't take it personal.

Too many courious children on here thinking they know everything about all religions. They don't understand God knows everything they do and say and will have to answer to it on judgment day. I've been here a long time. I don't see it getting any better.
Listen to what the "top contributors" have to say.
These are "top contributors" in the religious section. Kinda scary.
glitterkitty is an adamant atheist and "top contributor" here.
I tell it straight from the bible and have a 4% rating. That might tell you that people don't really want to hear the gospel truth.

In theory it is a nice idea...
The only thing that stands in the way is human nature... :)
The problem in general is that it is easier to launch a quick "witty" (in quotations for a reason) remark than it is to build a logical response to a question...
You should really read Neal Postman's "Amusing Ourselves to Death", as it is focussed on some of the problems that Western Culture (America in specific) is having with public discourse in general...

I'm sorry, but some of the questions here show such ignorance that one would go insane trying to answer without a little tongue in cheek.. And some people answer questions on things they have either no knowledge of, or false knowledge of...
Besides, when an opinion is asked for, then an opinion will be given, and we don't always have clean, nice, and positive opinions of EVERYTHING in the universe...

As long as major media continues the current trends. We are condemned to live a life of hatred. As long as gangs are allow to exist we a doomed to live in a life of inequality. Hatred is allowed to exist because it controls the masses. How else to keep our collective minds off of our hardships, but by encouraging the hatred.

Don't worry i think we will all get along one day, if not today then be it tomorrow, and i think that we can get along with each other but all you have to do is just try to understand other peoples religions, culture and society and soon everybody will live together as a multi-cultural society where no one has to frown upon someone just because they look, dress, believe and think according to what their faith teaches them. :D

I think there's too many people here that won't listen to opposing views, to be honest. On both sides. Maybe we should hijack another subject to do our intelligent conversations on? The society and culture: royalty category is pretty slow...

I agree Kaliko. The problem I see is that so many of the people posting on here are young, uneducated, unintelligent, a combination of all three, or just plain stupid.

i believe that if we do not meet religious tolerance we will never meet world peace, because we will always have the issue of religious differences so in order to reach world peace we must be able to tolerate eachother belief system.

Yes, all you need to do is put aside silly superstitions.
Choose reality, and then we can discuss religion on a mature level like sane and rational human beings.
