Jesus said in John 10:41 (NIV bible)

if you were blind you would not guilty of sin, but now that you claim to see your guilt remains.

Also who is the prophet?
Who are the Disciples?

Also can someone explain John 10 - to me?

Thanks everyone =]
God bless!

The character, the personality- I know wizards don't have religion-and don't say they are wicca or pagan, because they are most definately not

What I mean, do you think snape is in heart a jew?

I'm not asking about the movie actor, but about the character in the book

I don't get it my Bible says that the Earth at best is 10,000 years old, and yet they can see stars from 13 billion light years away, meaning the light took 13 billion years to get to earth, meaning the universe must be at least 13 billion years old.

Could the Bible really not be the truth, I don't get it. Oh wait maybe when God created the universe 7 days meant 2 billion years each, that's it. Even though it talks about evening then day meaning one day, but it must have been 2 billion year cycles, and not literal days. Phew I feel better, go Jesus!

In 1298, 628 Jews were killed in Nuremberg after host-nailing rumors spread. That same year, Bavarian knight Rindfleisch exterminated 146 Jewish communities in just six months. In 1337, the entire Jewish population of Deggendorf, Bavaria, was burned after stories of host-nailing became popular. In 1370, nearly all Belgian Jews were killed after someone in Brussels reported seeing a Jew break a communion wafer. Even as late as 1761, Jews were executed in Nancy, France, based upon similar allegations.

I have noticed the word cult come out alot in any post that pertains to J/W's. I have also noticed that the J/Ws dont refer to any other religions as cults so I was just wondering why people would use the word cult when talking about J/W's?

Theologian critics of the books of Sam Harris & Richard Dawkins & Victor Stenger often say something like, "...but you're not disproving the God I teach about."

However, it seems they are focusing in on the God that is described in pulpits and Bible studies around the world.

So how does the God described by theologians in seminaries different from the God described to the congregations, and how are these differences justified by the theologians, other scholars, the pastors, etc.?

I frequently encounter people saying that God is non-existence since there is no proof of His existence. Is this kind of argument logically correct?

I hear a lot of comments about how Christ was "without sin". If that is truly a persons response to that comment than is it not true that one should think of marriage as sinful...that sex is sinful...that procreation is sinful? Why could the son of God not be a married man? It says he was tempted by everything one can be tempted by...but if not married how can he represent the temptations one goes through as a spouse and a parent?

OK everyone, listen up: I am tired of all the mindless bashing and hatemongering that is occurring here on Y!A. The final straw for me was "Yoda Green". I have never come across such a self righteous, hateful person. Personal attacks because of religious affiliation need to stop- from ALL sides!

R&S is SUPPOSED to be an open forum for questions and answers- not a playground for the school bully!

I consider myself to be a pretty intelligent person- I'm certainly not a physics professor, but I think I can hold my own :0) I would like to think that I have made friends with people of all faiths on here, and that there is mutual respect. I preach love and forgiveness, so I always try to pay those qualities forward. I will admit, I get sarcastic at times, but I make a concerted effort to never degrade or insult another participant.

But come on- to be openly hated with such intensity is just ridiculous! Am I wrong here? Have I made no friends? Is common courtesy dead?

New apostasy bill to impose death on anyone who leaves Islam

by Qaiser Felix

Pakistan’s government sends draft bill tabled by six-party Islamic alliance to standing committee for review. Under the bill’s terms, apostates would be sentenced to death or life in prison. Testimony by two adults is the only independent evidence needed to determine or demonstrate apostasy. Lahore archbishop is praying the bill is never adopted.

Tabled by a six-party politico-religious alliance, the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal or MMA, the Apostasy Act 2006 which the government sent to the committee would impose the death penalty on Muslim men and life in prison on Muslim women in case they leave Islam. It would also force them to forfeit their property and lose legal custody of children.

or do christians and non believers think that he wasnt being attacked by the enemy. This is why it so important that we pray for our leadership. Does anyone have any idea where he stood in leadership. As a believer filled with the Holy Ghost he was being attack against the enemy and he fell, but its important that he gets up for the righteous fall but get up.

Think about that

The enemy loved this he was thrilled for what happen.

I can see where there other sectarian differences come from but why do they have so many problems with the Trinity? When they try to explain they each explain it differently, this is normal to some extent but....many of their answers contradict each other. Please discuss this topic. Don't try to explain the trinity(there are lots of posts about that)--just answer this question please.
