He doesn't look Jewish. Even though he's from Slytherin. It's funny I answered this question, because I'm watching Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone right now! Snape is mean, but someone has to give him a lil love!! (I wouldn't want to. He's a grumpy old man!!)

There's no evidence in canon to suggest that. The only suggestion in that direction is the possibility that Snape will end up being the Christ figure of the story (Jesus, in case you forgot, was a Jew).

No I don't see any Jewish characteristics about Snape. Besides with the potions type work he would have to touch too many unclean things, not to mention the whole former death eater ordeal .

No! Good heavens! What made you think of that? I see nothing in any of his mannerisms that are stereotypically Jewish, and anyway as you pointed out, there's no religion at all in the books.

No. Snape isn't a Jewish name and JK Rowling created him. She would be as far away from racial stereotypes as any author could be.
