This is a religious question yet I am not religious before I get berated for the question. I was just wondering why Jesus didn't pull his hands and feet through the nails and go into hiding. If I was in that situation that's what I'd do.....In fact, why didn't all the crucified people do that?

Would you all pray for Julie, whose grandma went to Hell?

Julie is saved, cause she knelt at the Baptist preacher's altar, and did the special incantation.

Unfortunately, her beloved grandma, who was occupied in a scientific career, a molecular biologist at the Hauser Institute, didn't get saved.

Oh yes, she was a kind and good woman.

But you must understand: She could not bring herself to believe that Jesus got up after being dead three days, and started walking around like nothing ever happened, then rose into the sky and became a god.

Try as she may, she couldn't manage to believe it.

Now she has gone to Hell.

Julie is distraught.

I have sought to comfort Julie, and explained to her that God will wipe away all cares, and in Heaven she will not care if her grandma is in Hell.

Will you all pray for Julie, so she can accept my words of comfort?

I think that's what heaven or hell is. You get beamed to a place where everyone is just like you for eternity. If you suck then your in hell. If your awesome then it would be heaven. Your thoughts?

"And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, 'Read this, I pray thee' and he saith, 'I am not learned [lettered].'" (Isaiah 29:12)

HOLY QURAN - 007.157 "Those who follow the messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the Torah and the Injeel (Gospel);- for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honour him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper."

christians claim that God is 3 in 1 - Jesus, God, Holy spirit. if Jesus is a God then why did he worship a God? did Jesus worship himself? why didnt Jesus just claim himself to be the one God because he is part of the God thus trinity himself rather than claiming he is the son of God and that he worshipped a God? and why would God want to have a son and be 3 element since God is so mighty and divine? dont you think its man-made? why cant you just accept that God is only one and that He didnt have any son? sorry if i offended anyone.

Christians: What have atheists ever done to you, personally, that makes them feel like a threat to you?

Atheists: What have christians ever done to you, personally, that make them feel like a threat to you?

You both have a right to think whatever you want. If you don't want to hear what the other has to say, don't ask. If you're offended by them, leave the site. Why is this so childish?

If I have a question about God, I get 48 answers, 24 telling me to read the Bible or I'm not a real believer, and 24 others telling me how dumb I am for believing. I just wish everyone would calm down, step back from the computer, and take some deep breaths.

Up until the 1960's --- White Christians would NOT Black Christians eat in the same restaurants with them.

They couldnt drink from the same water fountain.

Christianity did not change.... the people were forced to change which means the Bible can still be used to promote division between blacks and whites.

Did the bible ever promote slavery ?

Is there still a silent message of inequality in the statue of JESUS ?

If there are so many religions, and from what we truely know, anyone of them could be right or wrong, why do people get so offended when questioning religion. Wouldn't the world be more peaceful if people were able to ADMIT that they really do not KNOW. We think because of the stories and faith of our parents and loved ones, no?

the wrath of God?

There is significant Bible proof that God is finished with ALL the local churches (regardless of denomination). In 2 Thessalonians 2:3 God speaks about a "falling away." This is not in regard to church attendance because more people are attending churches than ever before. The "falling away" refers to departing from Bible truth. The "man of sin" (son of perdition) can be shown to be satan. The Lord tells us in Isaiah 14:9-15 that satan's desire was to be "like the Most High." After man sinned against God, satan was given rule over the earth (Luke 4:5-7). However, satan could not rule in the churches because God was present when any 2 believers gathered together (Matt. 18:20). But just as God departed from the Temple (when Christ died on the cross), so the Lord has departed from ALL the local churches. In 2 Thessalonians 2:7,8 God tells us the Holy Spirit has left and the Wicked (satan) is ruling there. Also see Matthew 24:15,16 and Revelation 18:4, 23.
