Dear Kieth,
Couldn´t agree with you more!
My mother is with the Lord already and I will meet her someday (only God knows when) with great joy.
But my children (sons and grandchildren) are preparing something for me!!!
I thank God with all my heart for this marvellous experience: being a MOTHER!
Love constantly flews back and forth between hearts of mothers and her offsprings.
P.S.: I can´t read your 360! Is it because I´m in another country?

My mom died almost 20 years ago, and there are still days when I miss her almost more than I can stand. She was a feisty little red-headed Kentuckian who never let the fact that she was a paraplegic stop her from doing anything that she wanted to do.
She taught my sister and me a lot about independence, pride, and how to treat other people the way you'd want to be treated. The best way I can honor her memory is to live every day of the year by the example she set.
And for those who still have your moms around, give her an extra hug and kiss this Mother's Day, please. Tell her they're from someone who misses her mom and appreciates the tough but wonderful job that mothers have.

I am not sure, since I have never witnessed it, but I have been told a dying person usually wants their mother ot God. They may call out for either or both but I would say that many people are that attached to their mother. Mines 87 and still going pretty strong.

I love my mother, but as much as I love her, it is simply out of respect, that I have come to this conclusion.
My mother was a party animal whose birthday was once a month. She threw elaborate parties with dishes from various countries and the friends she'd invite were from various countries. Yet, of her parties, were we never invited, but privy to watch from a distance.
My siblings and I spent more time with my grandmother than with the one called "mother". and i learned a lot more about life with my grandmother than with the one called 'mother'. Even that i learned to survive.
Mother receives my gift of love and respect, but I do not know her as the pattern by which she has moulded her direction, is the opposite of the path by which I have taken. Not for disrespect, but for the sake of mine own humbled soul.
So, let it be said among us, that many can bring a child into the world, but not all can be truley known as "mother".
your sister,
Ginger

Must be nice. My mother gave me away to a child abuser uncle when I was 9 years old. She was forced to take me back when I was 13 but she hated me for the rest her life.

There was a period in ancient history when a mother was considered an God. Times have changed but my mother was a God to me. She is deceased now.
