"And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come." - Mt 24:14
This is being fulfilled today! The preaching campaign of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses is the most extensive preaching and disciple making campaign of all time. It has reached every land on earth!
Jesus spoke these prophetic words went describing the time of his presence as messianic (God appointed) king and the conclusion of the system of things. (Mt 24:3)
Soon Jesus will arrive as judge of mankind as described at Mt 25:31-46. This will mean an end to wickedness, and an end of an era of wickedness. It will mean the begining of a new era under the rule of God's kingdom. Those judged as righteous will have the prospect of everlasting life!

You mean "This good news of the Kingdom shall be preached throughout all the inhabited Earth for a Witness to all the Nations, and then the end will come"??? (approximate quote)
It means that we as Christians are to share the word of God with ALL, this also tells us Jehovah, is not going to let anyone miss a chance to know him.
And no understanding scriptures in no way equates being a Witness, while we do, there are many in existence who have understood things without believing/obeying them. Satan knows things about Angels that we humans do not, doesn't mean he is serving God.

We feel that this is a command for our time, as the end has not yet come. We are the only ones sharing worldwide the "good news of the kingdom". The kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for. The kingdom that will restore the earth and mankind to it's original purpose. It is "good news".

It means we have a job to do. To preach the "good news of the kingdom" to everyone! And there's nearly 6.7 million doing this in 236 lands!
My cousin and his wife are currently serving as missionaries in Malaysia. They graduated from the 120th class of Gilead. They're picture can be found in the July 2006 issue of the WT on page 18...with the last name Prentice.

It means that true Christians, as Jehovah's Witnesses are, would be busy fulfilling this scripture in the time of the end.
All Christians are commissioned and obligated to be evangelizers wherever they are, in that they preach the good news to all sorts of men.
Annually, Jehovah’s Witnesses spend over a billion hours preaching the good news of God’s Kingdom.

Jesus gave us a small sample of what he will do when he begins his rule over the earth. He cured sick people, he calmed the elements, he gave comfort to the poor, and so on. All these things and much more, in fact the solution to all our problems, will be solved by Jehovah's Kingdom under the rulership of his Son Jesus Christ.
After that Good News has been preached to Jehovah's satisfaction, then it will begin to be fulfilled. This system will be destroyed.

The good news is:
that He is coming;
He will rid the earth of all those ruining it,
Evil will be done away with;
(Satan & all those under his influence)
False religion will be destroyed
God turned His attention toward His ppl;
They will proclaim His name to the most
distant parts of the earth.
All those in their memorial tombs will be Resurrected.
YOU can live to see your loved 1's again; that have fallen asleep in death.
Kingdom:
HIS purpose for the earth and mankind will be fulfilled.
We will live under HIS reign for forever.
Jesus will do good things for the obedient ppl
No one will get sick.
No one will die.
Peace will be the natural order of things. man & animals
Food & housing for all.
The entire inhabited earth will worship 1 God, the true God.
We will no longer be hunted by Satan the Devil.
