Because those others so often say idiotic things, and lie about nonbelievers.

I agree that there is far too much mockery going on here. The believers need to stop saying such stupid things, lose the arrogance, and above all, stop lying over and over again about nonbelievers.

Uh, woggie, if you "can't help yourself" when you feel compelled to lie, wouldn't it be better to not respond at all? You're certainly not helping Christianity with that kind of behavior.

It is not because they believe in Jesus. It is the fact that they believe that they have all the answers, and will do anything -- including lie, slander, or worse -- to make others think their way. They make mockeries of themselves and we're just here to point it out.

I don't mock others that do. I mock the belief itself.

Religious belief is not immune to criticism or ridicule... it does not get special dispensation because it's 'sacred'.

Followers of Christ are mocked because they constantly try to shove their beliefs down every ones throats. And if you dare disagree, they tell you you're going to hell.

There may be some mockery going on but some sees any challenge to their beliefs as mockery, which it is not.

I only do when they get nasty. Snarky questions beg and plead for snarky answers.
