7:157. "Those who follow the apostle, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the law and the Gospel;- for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honour him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper."

Isa.29:12 And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.

Farid I believe Muhamamd made himself out to be the prophet refered to in Isaiah 29 not understanding that Isaiah
was refering to a prophet that was blinded by God. the Qu;ran teaches that the bbile is refering to Muhammad here but this presents a propblem for Muslims as I would think they would not like to consider their prophet who brought them the Qu'ran as spiritualy blind!

i do not know any prophet that the book was delivered to and then said i am not learned but Mohammad(pbuh). when Mohammad(pbuh) was in the cave, Gabriel came to him saying "Iqra" which means "read" and Mohammad(pbuh) said "I am not learned". now you make the decision. is Mohammad(pbuh) the prophet mentioned in Isaiah 29?
